No problem! I've been away for far too long to get back onto the M&B modding scene or else I'd take it slow and make sure everything worked how it should. With Bannerlord around the corner, I'm not even sure if it's worth updating in the near future if I decide to.

My two favorite mods all in one, can't believe I never thought to look for this before. Thanks for making this, I love you more than my own son!

Great mod. I have thoroughly enjoyed the combining of features from Vexed and Diplomacy, thanks for making it.

I've only ever had bugs related to companions. Often in a save, usually around day 150 or so, I start losing companions despite having the NPC complaints disabled. Most recently I've had 3 of the 16 total companions be very unhappy with my leadership even though I'm not doing anything that would upset them according to the wiki. I've tried shedding the NPC's they dislike despite this not being the stated issue but they grow more and more unhappy. My morale is excellent and the other NPCs are "enthusiastic" about everything.

If I've got a setting I need to change I'd appreciate a heads up, otherwise I think it might be a bug.

      Hello,

I appreciate your reply and I'm sorry for this long of a delay to respond to you. Sadly it has been entirely too long since I've worked on this mod, so I would need to re-dig to solve everything. The best decision I could make is to wait until Diplomacy 1.173 comes out and then sit down and rework this from scratch. The major issue will be getting compatible saves.

If I did come back, I'd want an options menu where people could adjust the mods balance. The 0 - 100 scale (or larger) would then be saved and set from then on.. This would solve army problems and much more, but I'm pretty pathetic at Python to be honest. I'm learning the foundations of Python all over again and hopefully I'll be able to be more agile while aggressively updating the mod.

It's a dream for the future though, I really do want it to happen and I hope I still have the support when I do come back.

Does anyone know how to add the "Gather Companions" feature from Floris to this mod? Either that, or a way to find out where companions I haven't hired yet are.

What part does your other "Vexed" mod use to allow purchasing of any kind of troop from any kingdom, and how could I transfer it to this mod? Also, how can I change the prices for purchasing troops this way such that it way, and/or the cost of upgrading troops, such that it is more expensive to buy the troop outright than to train one from a recruit? I haven't done a formal calulation, but it does seem to be cheaper to buy an elite troop than to pay for a recruit's upgrading to elite troop status, at least for huscarls.

Just thought I'd post a couple of bugs I've noticed.

Vexed Native keeps companions from leaving your party, however I just had Lezalit skedaddle on his own.

Also when selling prisoners to the bar keeps, every prisoner sells for 50 denar regardless of their quality. Would it be possible to have the higher quality troops (say the Huskarls) worth more than lousy looters?

Thought I'd try this out, I've been previously using Tocan's Calradia and Native Expansion and just wanted something different.
I was using the previous version of this mod, but updated yesterday. I'm having an issue, though.

I've been happily conquering castles and towns, (3 towns, 2 castles so far). Two Lords from other factions defected and came to my faction. They never showed up at my capital, I didn't think anything of it, just kept playing. Much later, while out Durquba way I came across one of the Lords who defected to my side, just hanging out near a village. Upon talking to him he said his spiel about wanting to join, I accepted, and off he went to my capital. When I got back to my capital I spoke to my Minister but there was no option to assign a fief to my new Lord. Only options regarding appointing a Marshall or not.
I spoke to the other guys there as well, one (I forget which) only had the option of asking what other Lords thought about who should have one of the unassigned towns. Nowhere was there an option to pick a fief to give a Lord, let alone to claim it myself (not that I want any more for myself).
Usually (in NE and Tocan's) I can enter a town/castle/village and give it to a Lord from there but I've got no options with this one.
So, basically, I can't give new Lords any fiefs that I've previously captured. I haven't tried capturing a new one as I'm not at war with anyone right now.
    That's my main big issue.

Besides my main capital I also have another town that I kept for myself, and up popped the message again about a minister/chancellor/chamberlain/and whatever the other person is which were being added to the court in there. I don't use them as I already have those people in my capital. So, that's doubled up.

With this newest version I can no longer buy specific faction troops from tavern keepers. Hopefully it wasn't removed due to just one person not liking it. I, for one, thought that was a great addition. I've still got the old version so might go back to that. I'd rather buy my troops than train them up from peasants :-)

Thank you for posting, it's very appreciated that I see any and all bugs that may persist on this.

      1) This is a known bug, but I have not checked into it yet. You've provided me with the most information about this, so it definitely does help a lot and I thank you for going into detail. Sometimes when merging mods, things can get tad dicey and not play well together, or I miss the code on accident.

      2) Buying troops will be updated in my next release, which should come this upcoming weekend. The Diplomacy code, from my understanding, not up to date with what Vexed has.

I released a very small update on Steam that fixes a major bug with companions going on Diplomatic missions, but I'm probably going to wait until this weekend to release it on nexusmods / other websites.

The lords exiling to your faction has been fixed as of 2/24/17 . They show up at your court now.

As far as the town bug, I'll check into that.
