I'm trying to find a way to modify the new companion's dialogues for a while now, but I can't find the darn line in the source code that lets me change the texts. Specifically, I'm trying to find where the intro/backstory exposition is placed so that I can do some personal tweaks in my experience. So far, I haven't found it apart from a few lines of "companion_recruit_backstory_a" or "companion_recruit_intro_response" that led me nowhere.
I'm not a coding guy per say, but I'm pretty dang persistent on making this personal little vanity project I'm working on. If someone could direct me to where I can change the companion dialogues (not just the backstory bits if able), that'd be swell.
Anyways, it's a great mod. I just want to do a bit of role-playing with it. It is a summer break after all (at least where I live).

Please a way to restore the introduction of the game ^^ (i think it's in the base script but i don't find a way... apparently the script has been ignored by adding some "#" at the begining of each lines... but there are so many, and some are not just for the game's intro, i don't want to make a mess... please, i don't want to pass through so lot of searching ;( ^^' )
Tocan! After years of playing huge overhaul mods with thousands of sh*t details that half-work, this mod was the one that brought me back to vanilla flavour. Top mod, truly man. Styling your army (after becoming a king) is just a cherry on top of cherries.
Only thing that makes it crash or bug so far is: OUTPOST (after fortifying it to full and being a king, game crashes after clicking 'walk the streets) SHIP: after trying to land near one vilage (obviousely without a port) a menu pops up that you cannot go out of, so you have no choice but to crash game yourself.
hope i dont repeat some older report, i'm too old, lazy and stoned to read the 200+ comments. Thank you again.
Do the salt mines in Tocans affect renown and honor? How much? Sorry if this is obvious, Ive been seing other forums mention how the salt mines have a negative impact on reputation, but I havent found anything more specific
tocan my save is ruined because i tried to demolish an outpost. Now it crashes everytime i try to load my save. Can u help me please, i don't want to start from the beginning.
