    So far I LOVE this mod! But I'm apparently stuck on version 1.0 because I cant update for some reason. I'm currently downloading the installer again, but before when I ran the game it still says 1.0 at the bottom right?!? I think you did an amazing job with this, and I want to try newer versions please help!

      I have a similar problem im new to playing mods and such, I want to update version 1.6 to 1.6004 but I cant find any tutorials or anything so i have this file with no idea how to use it. Good Mod but i need help with this installing thing.

      Brons48, when you go to the main menu what version does it say down at the bottom?

      Yeah, I was wondering. I downloaded the latest patch, and I'm having trouble figuring out what I need to shuffle around. Little help Devs? How do you install the latest patch?

      Don't know if it worked, but it involved 1) Making a temporary folder to unzip all the little patch files into 2) going to the Modules folder in Mount & Blade Warband, finding Blood and Steel, first copying and replacing the files in the Resource subfolder, then copying and replacing all the other files. Don't know why I was having trouble unzipping this into the Downloads folder, but once I made a temporary folder within the Downloads to unzip the files into, it seemed to work.

    Great mod but still needs plenty of patching and balancing.
    I love the beginning. One against the looters ))
    New battlefields are really cool! New troops are great. Managing villages, and castles is OK.
    Later it's not so great. Questing is boring and pay is pathetic. Need fixing. Bugs with quests from kings and nobles, unbalanced weaponry (reloading time, weapon reach), unbalanced wealth (loot from battle can yield amost 100000 gp from prisoners and equipment). I cannot close the bussines in cities. After 40 days I had almost half milion of gold, best equipment for all companions, two castles (captured in three days after I joined Vaegirs) and army too wek to capture dark castle and unbeatable against other lords. Garrison in one dark castle risen to impossible 1800 after two sieges. It's just got boring...
    I enjoyed this mod for almost 40 hours and I hope future patches will improve and balance the game.

      I can't say much about the fixes you want other then the money one. I feel that its not "unbalanced" but rather realistic AND everything is scaled up!

      When was the last time you heard about an army of 500+ knights being marched by a man with only 2-3k in real life scenarios? Not very often. I find the fact that looting corpses (hundreds of peoples equipment) and burning and looting villages (again hundreds of people + now they have all their valuables) makes sense to me. Not to mention there ARE items that cost 100's of thousands anyways to balance it out!

    Hey I love this mod and think its amazing, but I'm just having one little technical problemo. Some times when I'm fighting a battle when I hit charge the enemy an error message will pop up and the game will crash. (I'm playing on mommy mode) Its getting pretty annoying especially when I'm halfway through destroying an army of 500 people/skeletons/ghouls/wtfisthat. I'll try to copy and paste the error onto here the next time I get it. Would appreciate any suggestions on how to fix it.

    This is my favorite mod and I was surprised to see it's still in development. Thanks for continuing to work on this!

    Heheheh. I laid siege to Jelbegi Castle and personally destroyed an Aleph by wailing on it like thirty times with my greatsword. When the battle was over, I actually looted an Aleph Cannon - obviously a bug. It has no model when used by the player, but it still functions. Oh boy does it function. Ordering my army to hold position while I saunter out in front and personally turn entire enemy cavalry formations hundreds-strong into sausage using an invisible portable howitzer never ceases to be amusing.

    But then, I hit on an idea. What if it had a unique model and was balanced for player usage? For example, if you gave it a really ridiculous strength limitation, like 30 strength minimum, and a much, much slower reload speed.

    Yeah, the Days to Doom feature causes the Army of Darkness to invade on Mommy. Shouldn't even show that counter on Normal / Casual Gamer, though, so that's a bug.

    Not really sure what this "Doom after 45 days" thing is, but I assume those undead things invade or something?
    If so it has been 53 days and nothing has happened, that supposed to happen, or can you start it manually or something?

    Edit: I have it on normal difficultly, is that why?

    The Alephs are more-or-less balanced for Mommy; on Normal, they're probably a bit much atm. The Lords and the castles all have Alephs when you play it on Mommy.

    The recruiting-of-Alephs is a bug and will be fixed in the next patch.

    The City of Light is an unfinished feature; as discussed in the release notice on the TW Forums, there is a lot of that in the mod atm, simply because I got pretty burned out. Same thing with the last Death Knight fortress and a bunch of other things. IDK how much of it I'll finish, but I'm starting to become enthusiastic about the project again, so we'll see :-)

    The Mod is great ,good job.but i think the Aleph mechanism is OP,playing in Mommy level i was in a siege defense againt a dark horde and my side had 3 alephs.the walls of the castle were almost unreachable by the enemies with only alephs killing them.i would recommend to slow the aleph fire rate or they become a invencible siege force.thanks


    I think the whole point of Alephs is really to be OP. They're called nightmarish siege engines and they're apparently from another more technologically advanced realm (stranger in the mirror, find a Traveller in a tavern and talk to him will cost you 15 denars though). Although I do feel it is sort of imbalanced in the fact that I haven't found a NPC with an Aleph. Perhaps the mod creator could code it to where the kings of factions have Alephs once the player character gets one?

    On a completely unrelated note, what purpose does the City of Light serve? I've went there, and there's some weird architecture and a cool zen-fort, but I never found Wilhelm Peace-with-god or any of the actual Templars, it was just completely empty.
