For others coming along and cannot or do not want to use an .exe file, go to Moddb where you can find the Gekokuho - Daimyo Edition submod. This version is not an .exe and features more content.

With the game launcher just use the base game instead of the Gekokujo.

I kinda suck when it comes to installing mods so I usually just use the mod manger downloader instead of manually downloading it.
I got an error that told me to report it to you saying that it was installing files that were not apart of the archive. it told me that the manager usually ignores this kind of error and that the mod would still work or at least partially.

I dont think the Nexus mod manager works for this game. Installation is easy, just take the Gekokujo folder and put in Warband's Module folder and select the module when you opened the game's launcher.

tutorials for mods suck its actually really simple, go to steam library right click mount and blade warband on the list go to manage > browse local files, click modules, you will see "native" and all the mods you have, drag the folder that has the name of the mod to the modules folder and ur done

Does anyone know if it's important to revert to a previous version of Warband to play this, or can I play it on the latest version of steam?

I think it is safer to play on latest version on steam. No problems whatsoever

Hey, great mod, but is there a troop tree by any chance? In game or just around. I've been given quests to raise Asakura Officers or w/e, and that's all good and fine, but I have no clue what to be training to raise those.

    If anyone helps, great, thanks

Can we please get a ZIP file instead of an installer? I can't download the mod at all with the installer because it won't let me select anything but the default directory, which is incorrect in my case. With all due respect, I know how to install a mod. If I didn't I wouldn't be tampering with mods to begin with.

      THIS

It actually pisses me off when mod devs use installers for their mods instead of just uploading it in a zip file
