@Hovard "I am geting up an RGL error, it says get_object failed for texture:ext_itm_helmet_sar_t7_veiled_c_normal" means that you are using a wrong Warband version with a wrong Floris version. Floris 2.54 is for Warband 1.153/4.
@sekmeth Your hardware is unable to handle the mod. Messed up textures are a direct result from RAM shortage. Use basic/gameplay or upgrade your PC. Floris Expanded requires up to 4GB RAM depending on how well your system functions with the games engine. Do note 32bit systems only allow 2GB RAM unless you apply the FAQ fix. Steam can also force compatability mode upon you, which will only allow up to 1GB RAM.
@ThaneJo AFAIK Light and Darkness is closed source. Floris is also pretty much finished, since we devs dont have the time to further develop it. Cheers for the praise though. As for firearms - there are only the native firearms, which you can access through the cheatmenu (turn debug mode on in the mod options).
@PeterHicks Check Narutos advice. The expanded troop tree has very high level troops and dont confuse their tier number with their actual level. Your level needs to be higher for you to be able to train them.

@People having crashes with the Tournaments - this occurs due to having corrupted game files. That can happen due to a crack or a patch gone wrong. To fix it, get the full legit install from www.taleworlds.com (steam game keys work no worries). Alternatively you can turn off our tournaments in the ingame mod options and play with the native system.

Further Edith: People that dislike the troopnames - we created the multiple troop tree system for this reason. Do not select the expanded or reworked troop trees at game start, if you dislike the foreign names. Choose the native troop tree set. (This is done at character creation.)
um... I have a question... hopefully its a quick answer... and if there are no answers given I wont mind... but if I cant run a clash of kings (the game of thrones mod) will I be unable to run the floris pack with all of the options? or will I have to choose gameplay/basic? What version of Warband is the 2.55 mod made for? I am trying to use it with the Steam version but it crashes right after character creation and is completely unplayable. I cannot find the info anywhere so if you could reply I would be grateful
Edit: there also seems to be no installer in the aforementioned version of the mod, so I simply extracted it into my Steam directory, hopefully that is what I was supposed to do

Ultimately a flawed mod (due to lack of bug fixes) don't expect end-game play to be happy. For example, capturing a lord is nearly impossible, but if you auto-resolve it's nearly guaranteed. Of course everyone should know the auto resolve is cancer and without proper lord capture you can't expect an efficient way to gain relations necessary to win.
Came across an issue under the known lords tab that comes with this mod where you can view lord and ruler relations, their appearance and their personality. I recently took my new kingdom but all my vassals are labeled as rulers of my kingdom and their personalities have disappeared. This hasn't changed anything (i hope) gameplaywise but I just don't want to write down every lord's personality if there's a fix out there. Has anybody else come across this issue?
What if the mod author actually filled out the information on the mod page he's uploading it to? I'm not going to some s#*! forum site I've never even heard of just because the mod author is lazy
Mod's author is lazy or is it you? Does scrolling down the description tab and clicking one link overwhelms you all? This modpack contains over 100 different modifications so I doubt in author's laziness and I'm more inclined to believe that he wanted to keep description tab neat and clear for most users (since most of these mods are quite obscure) yet still providing informations for those more interested behind one click wall.

As far as I understood various install advices, you'll have to extract the 2.55 zip to the Warband/Modules folder.
Also, is it written anywhere which mods are included in this package?
I've been using Floris with my Steam M&B:W for years without any real problems, so it's definitely compatible.
