This has been up a while, but i just found out about this mod and greatly appreciate it. While i get that this game intends you to not really understand whats going on around you, after a couple of playthroughs i want to know what Max has been missing.
For whom it may concern: This works for every language file as long as you rename it to match the file you replace. I couldnt be bothered to figure out how to switch the game to american english, so i simply replaced the German file with this one. Works like a charme!
i think this might be my fault because my game version is different from the steam version when i went to my directory i didnt think it would be update.rpf i thought it would be a folder but i replaced american.gxt to common.rpf which ultimately made the game crash every new game i kept an archive and pasted it back but no work until im forced to select chapter which i think wont be good for my old school run any idea how to fix this?
Yes, the only thing I can think of is to delete all the English subtitles, and just keep the foreign translations in the american.oxt file and turn the subtitle on. that way it will only show foreign subtitles.

*nvm i found out it's rockstar launcher that removes the mod and that's why it's not working
I have the game in spanish so yeah im going to use it because why not.:p
