This mod is for the Portuguese dialogues in Max Payne 3, which has been translated into English and you can finally get to know what the NPCs are saying about Max.

This mod is for the Portuguese dialogues in Max Payne 3, which has been translated into English using translation tools as the creator is a non-native speaker. I wouldn't say it's 100% accurate, but it works and you get a general understanding. Plus no one who speaks the language ever tried to make this simple mod. So this is the best we all have got.
Steps.
1. Extract the american.gxt file from the zip.
2. Run OpenIV and choose Max Payne 3 from the list
3. Enable Edit mode.
4. Go to Max Payne 3 > update.rpf > common > text
5. Extract your original american.gxt file for backup and save it in some other location* (Optional)
6. Drag the downloaded american.gxt into the window and replace the original.
7. You're done. Enjoy.
