Hey Im new to modding on open iv and Im trying to add the ragdoll mod. However when I open up, openIV in edit mode and go into the package installer, the xml pathway for the mod wont show up for me to drag and drop it into the correct folder. I cant find ctaskblendfromn.xml in the folder . Any help Ive been stuck for an hour trying to figure this out. Any help would be appreciated!
You're clicking on the common folder. Look down, and you'll see files that end in .rpf, You're supposed to click on THAT common file, not the actual folder.
I have OpenIV...I found the pathway...I enabled Edit Mode...I attempt to drag and drop the file and it will not allow me to drop it. What am I missing?
You'll need some software (zip, winrar, etc) to unzip the file (Nexus only allows zipped/compacted files uploads) then you will also need OpenIV (a software that allows you to read/modify RockstarGames DATA) to open some data files (from your game location) that you cannot see with "File Explorer" from Windows. Then you can start "making the changes" (applying the mod).
how do you 'apply the mod' when all we see in this file is a folder called bkp and a file called ctaskblendfromnm.xml, where are these supposed to go? that's the critical information required
As I said above and on description: Get OPENIV(Open IV Download?), copyctaskblendfromnm.xml with OPEN IV and drop it on \Max Payne 3\common.rpf\data\tune\tasks
What is the difficulty ? How everyone that downloaded and enjoyed understood and you guys didn't ? This critical info is very well stated and the "how-to" either, just read it again and try use your brain.

However, what I find is 'common_files.txt' where I find a lot of 'data/tune/tasks' embedded inside.
Kindly help.
