The head of Timothy Gibbs was specifically modeled for Max Payne 3 in order to fully integrate the actor's likeness into the game. The portrait was created manually without the use of AI.
Facial expressions are preserved, both in cutscenes and in gameplay. (Pre-rendered cutscenes are not affected by head model replacement).
All head textures were adapted to match Timothy Gibbs' likeness, preserving all the wounds Max receives during the story. (There are 21 face materials in the game to convey the injuries Max receives throughout the story. Injuries sustained early in the narrative heal by the end, but new ones appear nearby).
All hairstyle variations were adjusted to fit Timothy Gibbs' portrait and close to the hairstyle from Max Payne 2 (There are 14 hairstyles in the game. Two of them are for the official bonus skins of Sam Lake from the first game and Timothy Gibbs from the second. The rest are used in the main story. These are hairstyles with varying degrees of shagginess, which change depending on the conditions in which Max finds himself according to the plot. There is even a separate model for baldness. By the way, Max's bald spot after shaving his head also gradually grows closer to the end of the game).
Important note!
The modification is only for single mode. I do not recommend playing multiplayer with the mod installed. If you want to play online, restore the original game files.
