About this mod

Faster paced combat to emulate more of a classic Max Payne feel and to reduce some of that infamous 'Rockstar Clunkiness'.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Simple mod that enables faster paced combat to emulate more of a classic Max Payne feel and to reduce some of that infamous 'Rockstar Clunkiness'.
Overall movement/animation speed is increased by +25% during gameplay. These changes will affect both Max and the AI.
Advanced movement techniques are more viable, like sliding into cover then immediately cancelling it with a roll to dodge bullets/traverse distances quicker.

Default Version:
Bullet-Time speeds are untouched and still behave the same way.

Bullet-Time Version:
Bullet-Time ability speeds are a little faster too, as they are sped up by the same percentage as the base gameplay. Does not affect killcams.
This can make overall gameplay feel even faster and smoother, and the bullet time slowdown is still enough to where it doesn't feel totally nerfed.

Installation
**********************************************************
1. Extract the contents of the mod somewhere.
2. Open Max Payne 3 with Open IV.
3. Activate Edit Mode.
4. Open "update.rpf" and drag the entire "common" folder from the version you want to use into that location.

***
If you want to back up vanilla files first, go to "update.rpf>common>data>tune>timewarp" and extract "timewarp.xml" to backup somewhere.

If you want to make sure the mod is installed properly, navigate to the same location after installing and and open up "timewarp.xml".
Next to "<Singleplayer>" there should be this: <!--Fast Payne Mod-->.

**********************************************************
Compatibility
**********************************************************
Not compatible with any other mod that modifies '"timewarp.xml".

I highly recommend using this with the Sam Lake mod.
If you want more generous bullet-time consider using my Various Bullet Time Options mod, or you could just use the Script Hook trainer for infinite.
