Sometimes I look at all these fixes that enthusiasts are making, and I wonder: why the hell didn't the developers do all of this themselves?
Anyway, thanks for this mod! Will be a good addition to the future Community Patch.

Corporate devs have to do exactly what they were paid for and no more, no less or they get a pay cut or a job loss.

Even if they went above and beyond their role to fix a bug one of us was concerned with, the fact they fixed the bug while A: completing their work, means they get too much money or time for their work or B: didn't complete their work and instead focused on a bug, the developer loses their job and worse case scenario, black listed in the corporate development community.

Any issues you ever see with a game is usually not the developers fault as much as it is the fault of the incompetent morons in the c-suite who have no idea how coding works and puts completely ridiculous performance indicators that employees have to hit, even if those indicators behaviourally direct developers to do a worse job to 'complete' the required performance indicators so they don't lose their career.
So it's usually about pushing as much of whatever they've been ordered to make (usually some kind of battle pass) and if the devs do anything else they're out.

"Do what big daddy 'had everything handed to me on a plate by my rich father" manager says so the company can dissolve appropriately into worthlessness due to the plethora of nepotism and incompetence and the shareholders who have been read into the company decisions can buy short positions on the failing company so they can make money, even during the recession, albeit at the direct cost to the quality of video games, and the jobs and lives of developers.

      yaaaay.

Almost all the devs who made the original series and this update were used up and washed out before the profit from the project(s) even made it to EA. Nothing easier to shut down discussion on how much you owe your employees like firing everyone as soon as the project over, regardless of how much money you think you'll make on the actual release; better to fire them all and rehire the obedient ones as third party managers and rotate through new blood out of colleges and universities while the young men and women  have no idea about what proper work rights are and then we wonder why crunch is allowed to happen to devs.

Crunch, the term of working close or exactly 24.7 for weeks on end in order to push out the requests of upper management, the selfsame requests that should have come with the project outline, not shoe-horned in halfway through development by some daddy's boy that was thrown on the team at the last minute by a manager because he's related to a board member and 'always wanted to make video games'.

Well the desire to make games is nothing without the actual effort to learn and the desire to create, neither of which most nepotistic hires have, as if they have to use their family name to get the job, they're usually worth less than s*** in the first place.
