Does your eye twitch looking at the empty power ranks left after reaching level 60? This mod may be for you!

TLDR: Shepard and squad mates will earn enough talent points to fill all power ranks.

With version 1.0 Level Rewards takes a dependency on DropTheSquid's Allow Extra Talent Points (LE3) 1.2. Squid has updated their mod to address issues with how the game manages squad-mate talent points. Squid did this work on their own, unasked, but don't let Squid go un-thanked and give them an endorsement.

The major stumbling block for a mod like Level Rewards is that the game treats Shepard and henchmen differently when it comes to managing talent points. The only way this situation was ever going to improve was at the code level. DropTheSquid has done the research and work necessary to bridge the gap in the game's handling of talent points.

To be clear, Level Rewards will not work correctly without Allow Extra Talent Points (LE3) 1.2.

Installation Options

All Options Share These Traits:
  • By the time the player reaches level 60, Shepard and all henchmen will have earned enough talent points to fill all power ranks.
  • Shepard's additional talent points are awarded from levels 27 to 30. 2 additional points per level.
  • Henchmen talent points have been shifted to front load acquisition as well as accommodate the additional talent points.
    • The additional talent points are awarded from levels 1 to 15. 1 additional point per level.
    • Added an additional point for henchmen at level 46 to compensate for Wrex and Armax Arsenal squad mates. (See FAQ.)
    • This means that talent points are now awarded 2 per level for levels 1-46 and 1 per level for levels 46-60.
    • In vanilla, talent points are awarded 1 per level for levels 1-30 and 2 per level for levels 31-60.
  • New games started with a ME2 import will correctly assign talent points to henchmen.

Full Power Ranks
Default option uses the vanilla game's experience and level table.

Faster Level 60
  • Reduces the experience required to hit level 60, requiring about the same amount of XP to reach level 46 in the vanilla game.
  • This is accomplished by flattening the leveling curve post level 30. Leveling to 30 is the same as vanilla.
  • Players starting a new game with a level 30 Shepard from a ME2 save will start at the same level as they would in vanilla.
  • Players starting a new game without using a save game will not experience an increased leveling speed until they hit level 31.
  • Players using this option with a game in-progress will need to earn experience to see the initial level adjustment.
    • The game only evaluates level when experience is gained.
    • If you want the level adjustment to occur immediately, use the GiveXP console command.
    • In most situations using GiveXP 1 will cause the adjustment to occur.

Even Faster Level 60
  • Reduces the experience required to hit level 60, requiring about the same amount of XP to reach level 35 in the vanilla game.
  • This is accomplished by reducing the experience required to obtain every level.
  • Players starting a new game with a level 30 Shepard from a ME2 save will start at level 50.
  • Players starting a new game without using a save game will experience a dramatically increased leveling speed.

Keep in mind that enemy levels and difficulty scale with Shepard's level!

FAQ

Installation

It's always a good idea to back up your saves before installing mods.
Backup your game using ME3Tweaks Mod Manager's incrediblystupendously awesome backup feature.

ME3Tweaks Mod Manager does not have support for conditional installs based on whether a MergeMod is installed or not. This means the LevelRewards mod cannot prevent installation if Allow Extra Talent Points (LE3) is not installed. Installation order does not matter for these two mods but Allow Extra Talent Points (LE3) must be installed for Level Rewards to work properly.

Use ME3Tweaks Mod Manager to install. Drag and drop the zip file to the manager and install (or import, then 'Apply Mod'). Importing mods has a couple of benefits including the ability to update mods directly from the Mod Manager.

Uninstallation

In ME3Tweaks Mod Manager, tap the "Manage Target" button on the upper right. Make sure the edition of the game you are targeting is selected in the drop-down list positioned on top of the tabs. Select this mod and tap disable or delete as appropriate.
