    In addition to all the changes in the 4.0 changelog, disabling the mod should now actually disable it. I've built in checks to see if the mod folder is installed. If it doesn't detect it, vanilla behavior should resume. Except with the ability to equip weapons in empty slots in case you didn't re-equip before disabling.

    Is this mod compatible with LE1 Power and Talent Overhaul?
    I think Kaidan and Ashley’s load-outs in this mod need to be made similar to that in the LE1 Power and Talent Overhaul mod.

      I'm the mod author of both and there's built in compatibility in both that lets you install them in either order so yes. Yes it is compatible.

    I recently started another play through of the trilogy, and included this mod. Unfortunately, it was causing a CTD when switching weapons, however, it is a sort of specific situation you can avoid, albeit not too easily if you're in the heat of battle and forget the work around. If you're noticing a CTD when quick swapping weapons, read on.. 

    The problem: 
    If you change either of your two trained weapons in your pause equipment menu, then try to quick swap, it will crash. This is because the default behavior of the game is to switch to one of your untrained weapons after you changed (for example) your shotgun to the new one you just swapped in the equipment menu. But because of this mod, there is no weapon there, so the game just crashes. 

    The fix:
    Manually select your weapons in the weapon wheel screen after every time you change either of them in the equipment menu. This will tell the game which weapon slots to pull from when quick swapping, and prevent it from trying to make you quick swap to a weapon that doesn't exist.

    TL;DR: You'll have to manually weapon wheel select your two trained weapons any time you change your guns in the equipment menu, or else you will get a CTD if you tap that LB/L1 button.

      Holy s#*! thank you this is exactly where my problem was! I've always been a dingus about giving up on modding when i run into one error too many so you're a lifesaver.

      to the devs, is there any potential fix for this in a future version? or is that something that's too hard to resolve with how the game runs? Just curious! for now i'll just disable quick swapping :D

      I've been super busy lately but I am taking notes. Really really weird. I'll try to repro it and write around this issue to hopefully solve the CTD.

      Glad I could help out. I like this mod a lot, so working this bug out would be great. Also, I found that if you remove the mod, you will have to also edit your save file to give yourself weapons in the missing slots. Removing the mod alone won't do this. I'm not sure if you can select a weapon for those slots in the equipment menu instead as an alternative to save editing. That's just what I did.

    Maude is just a fairy tale, she's gone through two Shepards with him and now she's taken on the third. And then the problems started. If there is a gun in the inventory, then either Shepard or Ashley runs with it even in Normandy. I also noticed a funny bug in the first two playthroughs - Shepard running around Normandy with an invisible rifle.

    Loved having a less cluttered back for once. But Garrus was using an invisible gun on Noveria before meeting the first bug boy and Ashley in the end game double-tap of Saren was similarly afflicted! Never do a playthrough without this essential feature. (Ah, this only occurs if you're using Talent Overhaul in conjunction with this mod!)

    Hello,
    If I play a Soldier Shepard, does this still allows me to unequip specific weapons at certain time? (it always bugged me that Shepard had access ot its full weaponry in Citadel and I would like him/her to only have access to pistol at those locations). If this mod does not do this, does anyone know one mod which would?

      You can unequip all but one weapon regardless of class. Your starting equipment will always include all guns, some just may not be equipped by default because you don't have a talent in it, but if you want to play a Sentinel with an entire armory, you're free to do so. The mod limits squadmates down to two (or one, depending) guns and doesn't allow you to equip more on them, but Shepard can have whatever configuration you want.

    Hi I just wanted to thank you for this mod. It's especially useful when you run around places like Citadel and Noveria where you can at least unequip weapons and see the back of your armour/clothes (if you only equip pistol). I also hated the bulky weapons on the back in general and find them not aesthetically pleasing.

    Considering ME2 and 3 which you reference Kaidan should have an Assault Rifle

    I encountered an issue with this mod, during the finale where your companions check if Saren is dead and shoot him with a pistol, the problem being is that if the squadmate in question doesn't have one, no pistol is present and they shoot an invisible gun. I'm also using le1 Div, the community patch and legendary cutscenes, has anyone else encountered this?

    Does v4.2 have that incompatibility with the all gear types mod which causes a crash on trying to equip an omnitool on a soldier character?

      It shouldn't. I removed that patch because I reworked how the mod worked. It should work with that mod now.

      Yeah, I just started a new game and went through the Eden Prime mission. No crashes or bugs when equipping a soldier Shepard with a bioamp and omnitool.
