Unlocking comments for now because of the update. We'll see how it goes.
I've gotten a fair few crappy comments about how this headmorph looks and to be fair I agree.
This was a stop gap face I was using until texture modding was possible. But just because it's not the greatest, it doesn't mean I have to suffer through snide comments.
I'd honestly take it down but... whatever... it can stay up for anyone that wants it. I'm just gonna lock the comments and walk away.
I didn't do anything. The tank top mod isn't mine and I'm pretty sure the skin showing parts of the mesh are just the vanilla body mesh. Maybe it's just the animation frame when I took the screen. Maybe he has a small head. I'm not seeing it tbh :D
First off I'd like to say a big thank you for making this head morph mod and let me tell you why. So my fem shep and kaidan have a long history they were dating in high school and accidentally got pregnant they gave the baby up for adoption but my head canon is he comes back in mass effect 3 after the reapers kill his parents and he finds his birth parents. Well in my head this child looks exactly like Kaidan but with Rose's green eyes and when i found your mod i screamed because he is exactly how i imagined Casey looking. So thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
apply the headmorph to any male character save, open up a second instance of the save manager and copy the texture information for hed_diff, hed_scalp _diff, hed_norm, hed_scalp_norm.
First install the files with the ME Mod Editor. You just want to use the headmorph in general or use it on your custom Shepard? If you just want to apply the original headmorph from the mod, use the TrilogySaveEditor. Use "open" at the top left and select the save game you want to apply the changes to (for example the most recent one). Then simply use the import option under "headmorph" and use the mod files. Use the save option in the TrilogySaveEditor and reload. Done, new head morph.
For your custom Shep, instead of just using import you have to do some additional copy and pasting. What do you need to do? 1. Open up SaveTrilogyEditor twice. 2. Load any male shep save game and apply the headmorph from the mod, using the instructions above. Of course you have to for example use a ME 3 save if you want to change the textures on a ME 3 custom shep. 3. Open the save game of the custom Shep you want to apply the textures to in your second instance of the SaveEditor. 4. Now, under "Headmorph" in the Save Editor open up "Texture parameters" for both saves. 5. Copy and paste the lines under hed_diff, hed_scalp _diff, hed_norm and hed_scalp_norm from the mod headmorph to your custom Shep headmorph. Example: For hed_diff, you copy and paste the value BIOG_HMM_HED_PROASHTON.Ashton.HMM_HED_PROAshton_Face_Diff_Stack for ME 3 or BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.Kaiden.HMM_HED_PROKaiden_Face_Diff_Stack for ME2. 6. Save the custom shep and done, your custom Shepard now will look a lot better. :)
While doing this for the first time, no real bugs did appear. However note that the textures for ME 2 from this mod seem to have a unique teint, so you also need to adjust accordingly. You can change that under "vector parameters", for me r 0,29411766 g 0,09411765, b 0,02745098 and A 1 worked. Hope this helps!
First of all, thanks a lot for your work. Creating a somewhat good-looking custom male shepard is nearly impossible in ME 2, but with your mod it was pretty doable. I applied the textures to my custom Shepard and was pretty satiesfied with the outcome. I didn't really like the murder jaw of your Keidan and my adapation of your mod basically looks "friendlier" and "softer around the edges" in my opinion. So I'd like to know if I could upload it in some way, basically with your name under it because you did all the hard work. :)
Liking the headmorph. Thank you for uploading it. My only wish is the ability to import different hairstyles. Not liking any of the default choices. The face is great in this file though.
Mesh import is working in the "in development" modding tools. I've done it myself so it's just a matter of waiting until they have a stable and functional release candidate and then the sky's the limit.
This morph looks great and the author did such a great job with it. However, I can't help but be reminded of handsome Squidward a little bit, especially in the middle picture. Either way, it looks so much better than anything I could do with the custom character creator
