Tired of waiting for the 'deck' of notifications to clear up after starting the game or purchasing several weapon upgrades? This mod may be for you.
Notification display times normally range from 1.5s to 5s. This mod will set almost all notification display times to: 1.0s; or 0.6s; or turn them off completely.
This mod does not affect tutorial hints which show up in the center of the screen. The game provides an option to turn off tutorial hints.
With verion 0.5 this mod adds support for the Expanded Galaxy Mod (LE), aka EGM. EGM modifies notifications, primarily priority, preventing Shorter Notifications from doing its magic. This conflict did not affect the No Notifications option which is a different setting entirely. Thank you pecocus for taking the time to flag this issue and provide a log.
Installation now detects if EGM is installed and provides appropriate options so that Shorter Notifications can do its magic. Shorter Notifications does not change EGM in anyway, it simply treats it as another DLC that needs some of its values overridden. Shorter Notifications maintains all the values related to notifications set by EGM except for notification display times.
This mod was inspired by 55tumbl's Shorter Notifications (LE2) if you want a similar mod for LE2.
Installation
If you install EGM after Shorter Notifications, you need to re-run the installation.
If you uninstall EGM after installing Shorter Notifications, you need to re-run installation.
Use ME3Tweaks Mod Manager to install. Drag and drop the zip file to the manager and install (or import, then 'Apply Mod'). Importing mods has a couple of benefits including the ability to update mods directly from the Mod Manager.

In ME3Tweaks Mod Manager, tap the "Manage Target" button on the upper right. Make sure the edition of the game you are targeting is selected in the drop-down list positioned on top of the tabs. Select this mod and tap disable or delete as appropriate.
