Hairy Sheploo for LE1 has been thoroughly tested and we hope there is no bugs or issues with it. However, the mod relies on new modding techniques, as well as a new Mod Manager build in order to work. Issues we didn't account for during development may appear. If the mod fails to work for you, please always attach a Mod Manager diagnostic as instructed below:
NOTE: If updating from any version to 1.2.1; you MUST restore either your game or the following basegame files from the Mod Manager first: Startup_DE/ES/FE/FR/GE/IE/INT/IT/JA/PL/PLPC/RA/RU. If you're lacking any of those files or the option to restore them, it is ok, as long as INT and your choice of localization (language you play at) can be restored. Note that this file is patched by the LE1 Community Patch and possibly other mods (mod manager will mention them). You should also reinstall those mods after restoring these files. Failing to restore these files and directly installing the updated version will NOT update the assets due to how merge modding works. New installations without prior versions installed are not affected and can just install directly.
I am playing ME since day one 17 years ago and your mod made me play Sheploo (Beard only) for the first time in all these years and dozens of playthroughs. Thank you - again - very much.
If there is anything I can do to help you make the versions for LE2 and LE3 as well just tell me.
I am actually postponing my ME3 playthrough because I am waiting for your updates. xD ME2 playthrough was cool with a darker beard texture, but it is just not the same.
No pressure just wanted to update you with something funny.
According to a someone on the discord it's "shelved" for the time being. It's unfortunate because how much I want it, but I'm willing to wait, and I hope you know Marcus, fantastic mod. It's nut's Bioware didn't make default Shepard's customizable.
I really want to learn how to make mods so I could make something similar to this for personal use. I know it won't be simple or easy but is their a guide on how to learn?
I think I read or heard somewhere that they are waiting on some issues to be resolved that are outside of their control before the LE2 version can be made... so we'll have to be patient! (I could be completely wrong and mixing up my info so take with a very large grain of salt haha)
That does not sound working as intended... Could you provide a mod manager diagnostic as shown on the pinned comment? Which hairstyles did you test and is it the same for the beard if you're using it?
Please follow the instructions pinned above and also found on the mod description to install the new update. You have not followed them, and thus the update did not properly apply.
Glad to hear it, just so you know I had to update the mod again, to fix an issue with the beards. If you are playing without using the beard, you're fine; but if you plan to use it, you'll notice it lacks transparency and looks bad. In any case, thanks a lot for making me aware of the bugged hairstyles.

Love your mods!
(but seriously, thank you for your incredible work ily)
First of all, thanks for this fantastic mod.
After playing around with it for a while, I've noticed that the biotic effect doesn't apply to the hair options.
Would it be possible to make the hairs work with the effect?
if it's just an inherent issue that can't be changed, or if your simply too busy with more important stuff, feel free to ignore this comment.
I downloaded the new version of the mod but am still having the same issue.
I tested chain reaction, adonis and zombrex.
I think the effect is showing up on the beards ok, but it's hard to tell.
Here is the diagnostic: ME3Tweaks Mod Manager Log Viewer
I took some screenshots, But I can't upload them to the nexus due to the file sizes.
It's working perfectly now. (:
Thanks!
Have a good one.
