I am running this mod on a new playthrough… the description page for this mod says Miranda has a sniper rifle, but in game she has a shotgun instead? Her second arm (immediately after Freedom’s Progress, on the ship) is a choice of either a Predator or Shuriken pistol currently.
ETA: Jacob’s arms are a shotgun and assault rifle, as advertised.
I just thought “isn’t the shuriken an SMG?” and went and looked at the Combat Remastered mod which I am also using. That one combines heavy pistols and SMGs into one “sidearm” slot and the description says it gives characters who could only use those two (like Miranda!) a suitable alternative second weapon. So CR overwrote your mod. I like the power changes so I’m going to continue as-is and see if things are super messed for the other biotic squadmates or not.
I'm not sure if this a bug, or if it's because my laptop is a potato, but when installing this mod....which is awesome.....I noticed that Jacob's face texture doesn't match the rest of his body in playthrough....The issue is the skin on his face is several shades lighter in color than the rest of his body, and his hair seems to match the color of his face, but when you go in the squad talent menu his face textures are normal......Do you know what could cause this, and if it's fixable?
Does selecting a "Weapon Training" option count as selecting that specific "ultimate" weapon, or will the aforementioned squadmates still receive that weapon since Shepard can't use it?
Also, lol, Tali slinging around a Claymore is a hilarious visual, ngl
I don't know if this was asked already or not, but does this mod add the points available to spend on the new powers? Or will the vanilla level cap still be in effect?
You may have figured it out by now but no it uses the default points. What I use is the "give talent points specifically" mod and give every new member 11 points. That seems to sort them out (some end with 2 extra, some even)
Using this along side of the mod that makes powers not share cooldowns and suddenly Jack/Tali are a powerhouse team along with my Adept. Insanity is still hard but a ton of fun with that combo
I would suggest though that Liara get that stasis removed in favour of Overload (like she has in ME1) It would make her a ton more useful against mostly shielded enemies and the broker.
Damn, that's unfortunate... then 2 new questions that might be dumb since I don't know modding works...
1. Could this mod & Road to Hell get a patch to work together?
2. And does this mod just overwrite the powers while keeping the outfit selections the same or does this mod overwrite powers *and* outfit installation choices from RtH?
Again, sorry if this is a dumb question, I just love the idea of this mod, but Road to Hell feels necessary for me with the ability to choose what outfits/mods squadmates use in LE2 (which is why I'm hoping for the ever-so-slight chance that this mod only overwrites the powers and not everything)
