Update: I accidentally linked the wrong file. It has been updated now. I recommend everyone who is still using version 1.0 to download and install the latest version.
Yet this ReShade looks better than many of the others out there. I've tried all of them, and while some are just as good (but different), this one doesnt mess with bloom or bleed colors together or make it look like a jrpg. This preset is perfect to just remove that ugly grey filter across the base game, make the colors stand out, and just increase the clarity of the image.
So, yes, he does know a few things about color. Simple fixes can be just as good as complicated ones.
In general, use the Reshade version bundled with the preset you want to use, since later Reshade versions might break the preset by adding or modifying existing shaders. The preset was made about a year ago using shaders from a particular Reshade version, so in this case you'd just use this older version & shaders & preset from the Files section.
Tried this preset for the last leg of my LE1 journey with HDR enabled. Will continue to use it for LE2 & 3! My personal preference, but I also turned off the bloom shader. This is the only HDR compatible preset that I've found, and I never noticed before trying it how extra-gray everything was before. Subtle Reshade and it looks great, thank you!
EDIT: I've posted this on another Reshade preset's Posts, but will put it here too. If you're playing with EA (or Xbox) app and have issues like in LE1 with the cursor spinning during decryption minigame, disable the EA Overlay to fix it. I didn't see this explained much of anywhere and would like to save any others time searching for the solution.
Not sure if anyone's experienced this. I'm getting an error in the ReShade profile in game showing: There were errors compiling the following shaders CAS.fx - X3004: Undeclared identifier or no matching intrinsic overload for "text2DgatherR"
I'm assuming this is probably due to a newer version of ReShade? There is some generic help ive found online in ReShade forums, but nothing specific for this preset, and I don't want to mess with anything right now. I honestly can't tell how much of an effect that shader is supposed to have, because even with the error, the preset looks amazing on my 4k monitor. I haven't seen anything out of place.
I've tried the standard full reinstall of ReShade and the preset from the mod with no luck. Just wanted to see if anyone else encountered this or has a fix.
What version of Reshade does this need? It looks cool and the most recent version is 5.1 will this work with that? I only ask as this is first time using a reshade on a bioware game and I know with Skyrim some reshades require older versions of Reshade to get the right look. Also, when installing it, what API would we select?
So,I just created a detailed tutorial video on how to install a Reshade. I`ve done this, since many of my downloaders dont know how to do so. I experienced that media is easier to consume than reading an instruction,so I thought I might share this video on different Reshades. Maybe you (the Mod creator) wants to pin it or add it to video section, for easier access :) If you dont like the video, feel free to delete this post :)

Is it possible to disable the lensflare/solarflare/sunflare from the game?
Thx
