This Coalesced Edit removes aim assist with a controller from mass effect
To install drop the file into the directory where your game is installed -Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Game\ME3\BioGame\CookedPCConsole
(or -Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Game\ME2\BioGame\CookedPCConsole for mass effect 2)
and overwrite the Coalesced.bin file that is located there.
If you wish, make a backup so you can enable aim assist again by replacing the edited file.
