When installing Vanilla Mixtures LE2, LE3, NPC Mixtures LE2 and LE3 in ME3Tweaks Mod Manager, I get this warning: Improperly Deployed Mod. What should I do?
Not sure what I'm doing wrong but I can't get most of these to work in game. They're installed and enabled in ME3Tweaks and I've put the codes in to the save editor but most show up bald in game.
Okay so recently I've tried to add this mod too, and (sorry for not noticing your issue sooner, my boy) how I made this work for a specific hair (SxyAllers for LE1) was to simply download and apply the old file for NPC Mixtures for LE1 way down in the Files section. Applied it, saved it in the Trilogy Save Editor with the corresponding MDL and Hair Diff lines and loaded it up. Bam, worked, hair is stylish and on fleek, chef's kiss.
I tried it too for other files for LE1 & LE2, and surprisingly it worked for those very few hairs that didn't work from the files in the main files section.
Bit of an obscure solution, I know, but this was after like 2 hours of grinding my computer-adverse brain against the same problem-solving cycle in hopes of making it work.
I'm very sorry if this is a stupid question, but what is the difference between this mod and your Hair Additions mod? They seem to share a lot of the same hairs, but I'm not really sure which one I should download.
Is it possible to replace default femshep's iconic hair with the ClassyPonytailandHighBun? I want to use default femshep with different hair without using a morph.
I like that idea but I'm not sure. I think it might clip into her head because of how default femshep's bones are set up. But I could be wrong. I'll look into it next chance I get. And sorry for the late response I don't have notifications for when someone posts something.

I'd like to use e.g. the ClassyPonytailandHighBun (ClsyPtlBun) and I've tried the following, but it doesn't seem to work, I still get only the standard default hair: 1, I chose as default hair in the character creator in LE3 the the standard high bun (do I maybe need to choose a different default hair type?) 2, downloaded from the main files the 'VanillaMixtures-LE3' and had the mod imported and applied via the ME3 Tweaks Mod Manager 3, opened then the Trilogy Save Editor and replaced in my save under the tab headmorph the MDL and DIFF files as described
Is there maybe something else that needs to be done? Thanks a ton already in advance for any help.
Edit: Pls. forget I wrote, stupid little me forgot one simple important step at the end - after changing the MDL and DIFF files in the Save Editor, I had to go back to reapply the mod in the Tweaks Mod manager. It has an in-built Auto-toc and once it ran with the changed parameters, everything got nicely applied in the game. Apologies, total noob here. In any case - thanks a ton for this fantastic mod!

how do I install this??? can anyone write clearer more detailed instructions because these don't make sense. I can install the DLC part fine but what after that?? You say we need Mass Effect Modder, which is fine, I don't understand why you posted that github link when Mass Effect Modder is by default a tool that is part of ME3Tweaks Mod Manager, but anyway...

I prefer these hairstyles much more than the other ones found here, but man it's a real crap shoot getting them to work in ME1. 'Short02Allers' works reliably but well over half of the others I tried don't work at all or worked at the beginning of the game and then break later on. The other hair mods look worse but don't have this issue, or at least I've never encountered it after all this time through the OG trilogy and LE.
I'd also recommend following the trend of just giving the hairstyles random female names cause the worst part of all this is trying to correspond the images to the codes. It can be a huge PITA especially when something like 'ClsyPtlBun' is spelled out in full on the code list.
Agree. The list doesn't include things like CuPtl-Mixture, is it the same as CuPtl? What is Tweaked Ptl? I get that they're all modular and the naming follows a system, but when the captions don't match the list on the description page it's a hassle.
I have taken this suggestion to heart in my most recent mods. I will eventually get back to this one and do the same. Thank you for the feedback. :) I’m also sorry for the late response I’ve been struggling with managing my time.
Have you installed the latest version? Or is it still doing that? It’s been awhile since I’ve worked on this mod so I’m unsure whether I deployed it correctly or if I need to completely start fresh.
Hey, I'm having issues with the DefaultPonytailandHighBun hair, it either crashes my game or breaks the save and loads incorrectly bc of it, plus Shepard disappears from the squad screen too. It worked fine for me before in le1 and 2, but after hours of tinkering now I know it's this hair. The problems arise after I've edited my save to input the codes. Other hairs like ClassyandPonytail work.
