About this mod

GPG's Miles Away hair mod for Femshep, ported to LE3 and neatly packaged in a DLC.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
I went to all the trouble to convert this hair mod for my own Femshep, so I figured I might as well let others reap the benefits! This is a DLC mod, so theoretically it should not interfere with any other characters' hair sets.

This mod was originally created by GirlPlaysGame, who has given permission for her mods to be ported to MELE. All credit for the substance of the mod goes to her, all I did was repackage it.

The mod can easily be installed (and uninstalled) with Me3Tweaks Mod Manager--just import the .7z file, hit apply, and you're almost ready.

You will also need the Trilogy Save Editor, and you will need to change the following lines inside the Headmorph Raw section:

Hair Mesh: BIOG_HMF_HIR_PRO.MilesAway.HMF_HIR_MilesAway_MDL
Hair_Diff: BIOG_HMF_HIR_PRO.Hair_Short02.HMF_HIR_PROShort_Diff

Then just launch the game from Me3Tweaks and you should be good to go!

A few notes:

  • There is a small amount of clipping with this hair mesh on armor and the N7 hoodie, which sadly is not anything I know how to fix. (I haven't tried it with other outfits yet.)
  • There is also a small amount of scalp that shows where the hair is parted, and I'm working on figuring out how to adjust for that in the headmorph. If I get that sorted, I will definitely add the info on how to fix it!
  • If you decide to uninstall the mod at any point, make sure you go back into Trilogy Save Editor and revert the mesh and diff back as well. (I highly recommend doing a backup of your save before installing so it's easy to reset all these with a few clicks.)

This is my first time doing anything like this, so if there are any issues I do apologize. I haven't tested the mod with the DLCs just yet, so if you do please let me know how it goes!

(**Before anyone asks, my Femshep's heterochromia is not a mod, it's just color editing. I WISH this was a mod!)
