If your Shepard ends up with the face being green, go back to the save editor and apply the correct texture on HAIR_DIFF and not HED_DIFF.
If your Shepard is bald, triple check you correctly pasted the mesh code without any typos or extra spaces (including at the end!).
This mod just works and if you are going to ask for assistance on something that is already stated up here, do not expect a reply. For the past 2 years I have been constantly repeating myself with the same support answers and I am tired of every single time people being unable to read and follow the instructions and/or admit they put things in the wrong place.
Hey Marcus, I really love your hair mod! But please, for the next time, putting really dark haired models in front of dark background is ... erm... tricky. ;-)
Hello, I'm Japanese. I tried to install this mod, but I got an error message that it can't be loaded because it's an English DLC. Is there any way I can install it in Japanese?
Hi! It seems there is some problem with the DLC starter kit and the Japanese tlk (which isn't even needed for this mod...) wasn't created. I will see to push an update earlier today and will check if other mods have the same issue.
Since I don't want to fully update the mod for this (I rather when there's more content to add) here is a file you must drop to your mod folder in the library where you have the mod so Japanese is hopefully recognized as a language.
Thank you for preparing the files! I deleted all the other language data in the library and only put in the Japanese tlk file and it worked! Thank you very much for solving this problem!
For anyone with the bald character, remember this mod is SPECIFICALLY for Mass Effect 2. If you are on the first game or third, he has those on his nexus page as separate mods. :)
Hi, just wanted to say that these hair textures are wonderful, they look so good and love playing around with my Shepard with these hairs! Now, for my shameful question/request, would you consider modding more female hairstyles? There are some that would look so cool. Just wondering and checking if that is some plan or such that you've thought of.
Plus, wanted to share my Shep rocking those neat hairstyles!
I started modding ME2 literally 30min ago and this is already working great
just a quick question, how do I change the hair color in the Trilogy Save Editor? I'm using the default Femshep headmorph with the Craig hair, she's still a redhead and I wanted her hair to look black (like in the screenshots) thanks dudes
also I have some of Anto's hair for TS4 and Fallout 4, top tier work lmao
EDIT: I found it,it's just editing HED_Hair_Colour in Vector_Parameters. Setting all to 0 and A=1 gets the dark hair
I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I'm new to adding mods to ME but when I apply the headmorph it becomes like a spiral faced thing idk it's not even a face, I hope to show an iamge but it wont let me upload it unfortuantely pls send help :(
This mod does not involve applying any headmorphs, but changing the hair mesh and texture only. Are you sure your issue is with my mod? A hairstyle cannot deform the head if following the instructions on the page and screenshot.
The version of this for ME1 worked perfectly for me. But I'm now having issues with the ME2 version. I'm pretty sure I installed it exactly the same, yet it's coming out looking like this.
From what I see in your screenshot, you put in the code for the Hair Diff on the Scalp (which is why it is green with a hair like texture) and the hair instead is defaulting to Bioware's hair texture which doesn't cover the entire modded hairstyle.
Make sure to check your old ME1 save to restore the HED_Scalp_Diff as well, on the savegame editor.
