If you experience problems you need give me a detailed description of the problem and you need to post a log and diag and upload a save as shown in the gif below.
I cannot help you if you do not do this. Telling me what mods you installed, or posting screenshots of your mod library, aren't helpful. Posting a log and diag is very helpful. Please do that.
Considering Legion is now available practically from the moment the Normandy SR-2 is obtained, shouldn't Legion: A House Divided also no longer be tied to the Reaper IFF mission, instead being linked to Horizon like every other loyalty mission? I just find it a little odd that the first recruited member is forced to be the last loyal member.
That's just a little QoL improvement idea; it's not game-breaking or anything, just a little strange.
that's not a little qol improvement idea, that's an idea that would require a major restructure of legion's content. i kinda feel like maybe you forgot that the events of a house divided stem directly from information legion gets from the reaper data core aboard the derelict reaper. legion literally opens the loyalty conversation by telling shepard that its finished analysing the reaper data core - which you know, if you haven't actually been to the derelict reaper yet - doesn't make a whole ton of sense.
as it stands a LOT of the custom content that i made for this mod is focused on the derelict reaper - why legion needs to go there, telling shepard that, and content during that mission. it's all on the videos page. and it'd all need to be redone or thrown out if i (somehow) created an alternate path into legion's loyalty mission that made it make sense to do after horizon. not that i can really think of a good way to do that.
Is "recruiting" Legion from the Crash Site considered a "mission" that would count towards the countdown to Horizon? That is, could one recruit Legion and then do:
Kasumi Loyalty (1), Grunt (2) + Mordin (3) + Garrus (4) and then would Horizon trigger? Or would it trigger directly after Mordin's?
No, as explained in the mod description, legion's content at the crash site is treated as a pick up location similar to zaeed and kasumi (since you literally just pick him up, there's no combat mission, and the normandy crash site itself does not trigger a "time passed" bools behind the scenes).
so picking up legion will not count towards triggering horizon. it would trigger after garrus' recruitment in the example provided above.
I'm having trouble getting the crash site legion recruitment to work on the first visit it's just vanilla, dog tags and leaving on the shuttle cutscene to a mission complete screen but when i visit again and press f to leave i plays a short cutscene of shepard looking a the sky then it dumps me out of bounds falling into a death barrier. i'll reply with a log soon i'm running the texture check now and it's taking a while B)
you have installed the early recruitment classic module, which is the version of the mod that only provides early access to tali, samara and thane. it doesn't include the legion crash site recruitment content. legion recruitment is in the legion module (or full installation which installs both). currently no files from early recruitment are installed in/around the crash site at all.
you also have spectre expansion mod installed which is not compatible with early recruitment (classic for sure doesn't work, legion module theoretically would work but i haven't tested it) - early recruitment will be overriding its galaxy map changes; i'm not sure if it would lead to other problems.
i suspect you meant to install the legion module not the classic module?
i suggest reinstalling early recruitment with only the legion module selected (or choosing full installation and uninstalling spectre mod). then go back to a save where you haven't visited the site at all, and seeing if that resolves it.
i can't really comment on your issue falling through the floor on future visits and this mod currently isn't doing anything at all to that level, but you don't have anything else installed that should be either; all i can think is perhaps there's an issue with your save? but you didn't upload one so it's hard to check. like i said, the best thing to do is install the correct mod configuration, roll back and try again.

Hey, I was just getting a crash when trying to go to the normandy crash site after just installing, and after some thorough troubleshooting, I was able to figure out what the problem was. I thought I'd make a post for people to see.
The LE2 patch was updated somewhat recently. Be sure to reinstall the newest version of that, then the newest version of this after. This (might? should?) solve your problem. It did for me, at least, as I had an older patch of LE2 patch.
can i check which version of the patch? because the only thing updated recently in those files was some missing materials and that shouldn't crash stuff. while i always recommend the latest version of the patch to avoid problems, it's better if you're experiencing an issue to post a log/diag so i can check things for you. for instance making sure the right patches are applied, etc. this sounds a bit more likely to be a dependency issue...?

hmm okay yeah you were on a really old version, like pre-november 2023 (i thought you meant one of the more recent minor updates this year). tbh i'm still a little surprised it full on crashes because i ship the updated patch files in this mod. i guess they must depend on something that's not present in the 0.9.2.1 build. the fix in question wasn't one of my contributions so i can't speak with authority on that. but it seems likely.

I'm not sure why but every time I go to the crash of the Normandy my game just crashes. A little hard to google why I crash at the crash because of the word crash lol. I also was unable to download ALOT when I first started my playthrough so I don't know if that's an issue. without a proper log/diag there's a limited amount i can tell you. those elevator norms are a bugfix issue in a recent patch update though, and are dependent on it. it's possible that you either installed the wrong version of the mod or that you have an older version of the patch meaning the texture isn't present in your game.
or it's possible this error wouldn't cause the crash but you have other mod conflicts that might. again, without a log/diag i cannot help you. this mod has a lot of patches and dependencies and install configurations and, as noted in the pinned post, i need a log/diag to confirm this or i genuinely just cannot help you.
after the legion event at the crash site, in discussion I do both investigation choices, and then "I want to talk to it first". I then receive 20 paragon points and 5 renegade points. this is vanilla behaviour. the game awards everyone 5 points of paragon and 5 points of renegade at this point. then you get a further 15 points according to your choices. the game does this in a number of places. even a fully paragon or fully renegade playthrough will end up with a small number of points from the "other" side. i can't speak to the design philosophy here. my assumption is that it's their way of awarding a small "neutral" reputation boost followed by an potential aligned reputation boost based on choices.
but either way it's not behaviour this mod is responsible for, or changes in any way.
shepard has no reason to go there. shepard doesn't know wreav. but if shepard knows wrex is on tuchanka it makes sense to go there and try to recruit him. like i explain in the descriptiin dialogue is adjusted to reflect this reason for being there.
if wreav is leader you still get tuchanka when mordin or grunt's loyalty missions trigger.

you are using immersive arrival integration mod which is not compatible with this mod, or with expanded shepard armory. it's overriding the galaxy map file from this mod, which is why you aren't seeing access to any of the early locations. the legion module will probably still work, but i can't guarantee it. you also won't be getting expanded shepard armory's gear change options when you go down to missions.
you'll need to choose between immersive arrival integration and early recruitment. you can't use them together - as noted in the compatibility section, the other mod breaks this one very badly.
you can just delete the mod you're not gonna be using. if you're looking for an alternative to immersive arrival integration that works with early recruitment (with no need for a patch) i suggestion dlc timings mod. since you haven't installed any texture mods, you can just install it. i don't think there'd be any compatibility issues with your current setup (though it's not my mod so i could be wrong there).

The issue was casued by me not reading you well writen documentation properly. I didn't read this bit.
"This mod is compatible with The Normandy Project provided you you install the patch hosted by TNP. You must install Early Recruitment before The Normandy Project."
I had originaly installed this mod first before the Normandy Project but I re ran the install because I did not get legion when I went to the crash site. This was in turn because I didn't read you well writen documentation saying you get him just as you leave.
What I forgot to do was re run the normandy project with the patch so it works with this mod.
I just re ran the Normandy Project install and of course everything then started working properly.

I have installed your great mod and I have been playing normaly for days. I got Legion early at the wreck site so I know its working but I have just noticed that I am not getting the second set of dosier missions.
I can see Ilum and The Krogan DMZ on the map and I have just done Horizon. I can see the Recruit Justicar and Assasin tags on Ilum on the galaxy map and I have done Theeds and Kasumis loyalty Missions but the Far Rim map location has not oppend and I am not getting the missions for the second set of companions.
I am not sure what I have done wrong or what other mod may be causing this issue but I am 29 hours into the game and I really don't want to start again.
I tried disabling the mod and the far Rim appeard but I got a message from the Ilusive man saying congratulations on getting the Reaper IFF, a mission I haven't done yet so just disabling the mod will not work.
I've uploaded a log file and save, see the link below but I am very worried I may have broken my game.
