    - Make sure it's not answered in the FAQ (see description)
    - Make sure it's not answered in the tutorial
    - If the issue is texture-related, send screenshots and a save game where it can easily be seen.
    - If it is related to the installation, send the error report and the log found in MEM's folder.

Has anyone encountered stuttering with ALOT and ISL installed? I'm messing around with mods and while testing, I noticed almost no stuttering while playing the prologue to ME2 before adding texture mods. However, I always have microstutters often after installing ALOT and ISL...

The streaming system in Unreal Engine 3 games was never great (like UE4), so any higher load you put on it will likely lead to increased traversal stutters. Yeah, I notice them in ME2 as well once you add ISL, they're also there without it but ISL makes them more prominent. You're adding gigabytes of textures and there's just no option to 'load entire level into vram', so those points where the game has to transfer those textures from storage->ram->vram are putting more stress on an unoptimized streaming mechanism.

I was wondering the same, for me ISL completely destroys performance on ME1, not tried in on 2 and 3. I have installed it multiple times but for me its unusable, causes like 5 seconds of extreme lag when loading into new areas.

Vanilla game performs OK and installing DLC mods like Mello has no performance impact.

Hi, I installed ALOT --> LEUITM --> Primitives and few other .mem mods like glowing lights on armors and during character creation I can see that faces have got other skin than skalp and it causes ugly looking discrepancy. I suspect the problem is in first 3 texture mods but didn't find out during research if and why they cannot go together. Afaik ALOT regards to environment textures so the uncompatibility must be LEUITM/Primitives? Should I resign of one of them or is the problem being elswhere?

You're right, it looks perfect, HDR is great in this game, and with Alot / ISL on top it's totally AWESOME !!!

I had a similar problem, managed to fix it by going through this process.

      1. Restore backup from ME3Tweaks
      2. Delete the ME3Tweaks backup
      3. Repair or verify integrity of game files
      4. Create new backup via ME3Tweaks
      5. Reinstall mods

Hopefully this will fix the problem for you

So I installed everything correctly and in the right order (textures last), and I've noticed some improvements with most textures (I think, unless they were just the LE upgrades). However, when I look at the lights (like those in the first couple screen shots in the previews above) the lights still look pretty blocky. Is this common?

Also, this is in reference to LE1.

There are 2 files you should download, did you install both ALOT and ISL?

First thing first a big THANKYOU for all the great work done here.
Too few times I see real thanks to the mod-offers for their magnificent work.
Please excuse my naiveness, but it is unclear to me one probably clear thing to the vast majority of the community.
I read, in the downloaded file names, that these files are "updates".
Does this mean that I have to download and (manually of course) install the non-legendary ALOT mods and then to install (always manually) the new ALOT legendary files?
Unfortunately this is unclear to me, and I have read all that's around without success.
THANKS for the help in advance!

I can see why you would be confused from the filenames, I'll rename them if an update is ever needed. You only need the LE files, not the non-legendary ALOT mods.

Oh how I hate these kind of self-replies... Can you be so kind to write here what was the problem and how did you sort it out? Just for helping others having the same problem. Thanks.

I dont know what happened all i did was restore the original game to update some mods and now alot no longer wants to install. It keeps saying The following files are leftover from a different texture installation and gives me a list of files. I am very confused on what could have caused this as this was working perfectly fine yesterday.

Edit: Never mind just started working again randomly.
