About this mod

What's wrong with her face you ask? I tinkered with it, that's what.

Alright so what this is was my attempt at a complexion mod and I honestly don't like it all that much but I put enough time into it that I wanted to release it. I have five different versions in here.

PaintedFreckles: It's the one with lots of freckles that are very obviously made by an amateur... I don't do freckles well as it turns out. Even with some excellent tips from some very nice people.
LessFreckles: It's the one that looks like PaintedFreckles but with less of them. I'm actually okay with this one. It's not bad. Not great. But not bad. ...I mean, not terribly bad.
Nofreckles: Basically the smooth and shiny-ish skin that I made to get rid of default femsheps original freckles.
DefaultFemshep-JackNorm: This one has original freckles but removes the eyeshadow and of course has the larger but less wider lips.
DefaultFemshep-JackNorm-Eyeshadow: This one keeps the original freckles and eyeshadow but has the larger but less wider lips.
Uninstall-PaintedFreckles: This will uninstall everything and put it back to normal.

Now I'm a total noob with modding and essentially have no idea what I'm doing. So keep that in mind if you decide to download this. LE1 and LE2 should be fine I believe but LE3 is tricky because it has a lot of stuff that I didn't mess with. Like the mipmaps... I didn't touch those. Not sure if it was necessary. I tested them with ME3 but I only tested it up to Mars. So far so good. I did replace the Blood-face on shep because I thought that might need to be done. It's not as good as the original, but hopefully its not so bad.
Honestly doesn't look so bad in LE1 or LE2. Its three that's kind of... off. But maybe it'll look better with reshades? I haven't installed a reshade for LE3 so... Who knows.

To install have MEM setup and extract these files to your desktop or where ever you keep your mods then click on Mods Manager for whichever of the games your installing for then Mods Installer and add to list and from there browse for whichever of the versions you wish to use. Then click on it from within the box it appears in and click 'install selected mods.'
To uninstall follow the same instructions just with the 'Uninstall-PaintedFreckles' version.

P.S. I don't know all that 1k, 2k, 4k stuff. I've no idea what this is. But I got rid of the texture technically and didn't add any. It's why she looks like plastic for the most part.
P.S.S. These are very, very subtle changes to the original work and everything I used, aside from MEM and Gimp, is straight from the game itself. Credit goes to Bioware for their amazing talent!

Update 1.1: Added three new options. Freckleblush and a mixture of frecklblush with the lesser paintedfreckle. Inside the Mixture file is a version with and without blush.
Update 1.2: I forgot to include uninstallation for the blood face in LE3. I would keep the LE1 and LE2 uninstalls provided in the other folders but download the uninstall in miscellaneous because it's fixed. I've included all three on the off chance people lose them for whatever reason. The default version of her face with the slight tweaks should be fine as I don't believe I replaced those so the original uninstall files can be used for those.

Update 1.3: At the corner of her face it looked like dirt to me instead of freckles and bothered me soooo much that I cleaned it off. So nothing big. But this happens to be my favorite and I actually think it looks good so I wanted it to look better. But everyone likes different things so for some people what I thought looked like dirt might've been fine for them so instead of replacing the file I just included it as a new option. (I love giving people options if that wasn't obvious.) I also think I got rid of the freckles painted over her eyebrows with this. I've also put in a version that gets rid of most the freckles beneath her nose.

Update 1.4: I've included the cleaner mixture as a replacement for complexion 3 for those of you who don't want to code through the save editor. Unfortunately I don't have an uninstall as I had modded the third complexion and forgot to backup my files. So be sure to do a backup of files for the HMF_HED_PROCustom_Frek_Diff_0x82B60241 and the HMF_HED_PROCustom_Frek_Norm_0x09FC51ED.

Update 1.5: Default femshep replacers with a paragon or renegade star tattoo and really tiny moles. I always forget you kind of have to go big with the complexion if you want it to be noticeable. I've included moles without the tattoo and with and also the tattoo with and without moles. And I changed the title to 'Painted Faces' because it was going to be my original title as I'd planned on doing tattoo's and other stuff and not just freckles. But at the time I wasn't all that confident so I thought, 'I'd better just stick with this and stop there.' Then I started to actually like my second upload of freckles and realized I'm not doing too badly. Its not as great as some other mods out there but its good.
Update 1.5.2: I added to the moles and made them slightly bigger.
