I just thought I'd post the work around for the conflicts with Liara's new armor mod https://www.nexusmods.com/masseffectlegendaryedition/mods/1531. I replaced the 'ASA' for the material and texture names with 'HMF' in Liara's armor and breather for shepard.
Examples: ASA_ARM_LIAa_Diff is now HMF_ARM_LIAa_Diff and same for the norm, specs and spwr. ASA_ARM_LIAa_Mat_1a is now HMF_ARM_LIAa_Mat_1a to include Mat_1a_user.
I started playing the shadow broker quest and noticed they were conflicting. Renaming those seems to have fixed the problem. I also had to go into MEM and replace the Asa textures with Liara's new armor textures because this mod will add extra and overwrite the ones from that mod. Had I simply renamed the textures and two materials before installing I doubt it would've added those extra Asa textures but not entirely sure.
Any chance this can be updated to fit males properly? I worked hard on my custom male Shep, even making my own textures for him, and I'd prefer to see him after all that effort.
In case anybody has a problem with the standard N7 helmet showing up when you are in space - after installing the Unofficial Mass Effect 2 Legendary Edition Patch (or anything that replaces Coalesced_INT), here is what you need to do: Extract Coalesced_INT.bin (if you do not know how, there are tutorials). Open BIOGame.ini and find this line:
HelmetAppearances=(Mesh=(Male="BIOG_HMM_HGR_SHP_R.SHPc.HMM_HGR_SHPc_MDL",Female="BIOG_HMF_HGR_SHP_R.SHPc.HMF_HGR_SHPc_MDL",bHasBreather=True,bHideHead=True,bHideHair=True),GameEffects=("SFXGame.SFXGameEffect_Gear_DeathMask"),Id=4,Name=335474,Description=335475,PlotFlag=4450,Type=CustomizableType_Helmet) Replace it with this:
Not sure if this has been asked, probably has but I've seen other armours from 2 and 3 ported to LE1. This is my favourite Armour for my femshep. I've used this mod for my last 3 play throughs. Would it be possible to get this in LE1? I'd love to use it for consistency.
I'm at ME2, doing Liara's Shadow Broker mission, and for some reason, instead of the mask I'm still using the default N7 helmet :( . I've highlighted the optional tweak in the mod to remove all helmets for less clutter, so I'm confused why is it still not using the breather. Any help would be appreciated!
EDIT: Okay, I'm stupid. I rooted out the issue by disabling the mod ''Classic Armors'', which added helmets on its own. I didn't suspect it would override the breather as the default helmet option. It's working as intended now. Great mod, OP!
I have no idea which mod it was off the top of my head, but I had one that did this in ME2 and I just got used to it. Then I came to 3 and friggin' groaned when I got to Mars.
Then you came in and saved the day! Thanks so much!

What? There is no such thing in options. What options?
Examples:
ASA_ARM_LIAa_Diff is now HMF_ARM_LIAa_Diff and same for the norm, specs and spwr.
ASA_ARM_LIAa_Mat_1a is now HMF_ARM_LIAa_Mat_1a to include Mat_1a_user.

Compile, put it back to CookedPCConsole and you are done.
