HOW TO REPORT ISSUES We accept bug reports for both the game and this mod. If you want to report issues, please follow the following steps.
Please make sure the issue is repeatable. Try restarting the game, and reinstalling this mod, and ensure you are still able to consistently trigger the issue. LE1 especially has a lot of weird bugs that often go away the next time you replay that sequence of the game.
Try uninstalling all other mods to see if you can still cause the issue.
If you are having an issue with the Mod Settings Menu or the Persistent Settings feature, try reverting your game back to vanilla and re-installing the Community Patch.
Pirated installations or cracked executables are not supported.
Make sure you are on the latest version of the Community Patch.
You can report a bug either on the Bugs tab of this mod page, or on our GitHub Issues page. Bug reports in this comment section will typically not be looked at.
A bug report must include detailed, reproduce-able steps to trigger the issue, as well as a link to a ME3Tweaks Mod Manager game diagnostic and log. Save files and screenshots are also incredibly helpful. Bug reports lacking detailed steps and a mod manager log will be ignored.
I have already overcome the rachni attack at the listening post on Nepmos, but LP:Alpha is still uncompleted in my journal. The mission is stuck on the first step (arriving at the post on Nepmos). If I go to Nepmos and interact with the NPC there now, nothing happens. I was able to complete the LP:Theta mission normally. I can't progress the mission chain further though, because of LP:Alpha mission not being complete.
I should've reloaded that hour or so of gameplay when I noticed something wrong, but I didn't. Now at the endgame, I want to fix my save so I can play that bit of content I'm missing out on, but I don't know how.
Anyway: sadly, I am shaky on the details of how it went down now, after playing another ~20 hours. I can't remember the order of things for sure. But my best guess/recollection is:
I received the mission normally from Lt. Durand when entering Erebus.
I had to save scum the fight a few times to succeed (maybe saving and loading is related to the cause of my error?)
I survive all the rachni waves and then talk to the commander lady, and she tells me to go kill the other group of bugs (LP:Theta).
(In this moment, I could almost swear I noticed my journal should've updated and didn't.)
I go to Altahe and complete the LP:Theta quest.
Only then do I look at the journal and realize LP:Alpha quest should already be cleared.
Here is a screenshot of Trilogy Save Editor showing the 'LPAlpha' related booleans, maybe it can help with understanding the issue: https://imgur.com/hWeXWhi (note: I did try to complete the quest with the save editor, but I couldn't figure it out, so I went back to non edited save - that's what this screenshot is of. These flags are representative of the conditions where the bug has occurred) It looks like rachni queens were supposed to spawn ('Overlord') but didn't.
Not willing to uninstall and reinstall mods for testing right now, but for the record, I am only using the "first playthrough friendly" mods on "Aly's Mass Effect Modding Guide". I would try to reproduce the bug, but I'd need to play through the beginning of the game again, since I trashed my old saves from before I did this part of the game. Maybe later.
Since this post doesn't meet the expectations for the bug reports proper, I guess I'm posting out of desperation someone might reply and say "hey this happened to me and you can fix it by doing X". If anyone has suggestions for how I should proceed, please leave a reply. I would really like to 100% the game before continuing with this savefile to ME2&3. TIA.
Man, many many thanks for your post. I got stuck with the same problem, but after checking the screenshot from your trilogy save editor I managed to fix mine by checking the first two options related to lpal in your screenshot and I was able to complete the mission and unlock Gorgon. Thanks!
Awesome! But can someone explain this change in Feros: "Squadmates will now only comment on the strange behavior of the Zhu's Hope colonists if they have actually experienced it #90"? I don't know when this comments is supposed to occur. I want to keep all squad reactions like the original; I don't like the lines that were removed. Thanks!
One squad reaction line in the conversation with the ExoGeni VI has had a plot flag added to it.
Spoiler:
Show
The line is something along the lines of "That explains their strange behavior" when you learn that ExoGeni was experimenting on the colonists at Zhu's Hope. The line is now gated behind a plot flag that is set whenever you interact with any of the Zhu's Hope colonists. So if you go straight through Zhu's Hope without talking to anyone, your squadmates will not magically know that the colonists are acting a little odd. The vast majority of players will not experience anything different from vanilla.
I have a small suggestion... Every collection mission in the game comes with a Codex entry. When you find the first mineral, you get an entry about the Alliance Geological Survey. After the discovery of turian insignia, you learn about the Unification War. And so on... But when you find Matriarch Dilinaga’s writings… there’s nothing in the Codex. Meanwhile, the game’s wiki even has a dedicated article about it. https://masseffect.fandom.com/wiki/UNC:_Asari_Writings
Would it be possible to add this Codex entry to the game upon finding the first Matriarch’s writing?
Can this be installed mid-game? Sorry for the silly question, but Nexus broke the comment search in their unnecessary UI overhaul so I can't just look it up.
For some reason I cannot get the mod settings menu to show up as an option on the pause menu. I verified integrity of game files through steam and then downloaded only the community patch but the mod settings option is still not appearing.
I believe this is a known bug with the current version of the Mod Manager. An error is stopping coalesced merge feature from working properly and preventing the menu from being installed.
Install the latest beta update of the mod manager to fix it. Go to Actions > Settings and check Opt In to Beta Updates. You may have to check for updates in the mod manager. Once the latest beta is installed, re-install the community patch and try again.
Could you guys fix a bug where if you pick shotgun specialization as a bonus talent, you will receive a much bigger accuracy bonus than what soldier and vanguard classes get by default? It could be the case for other weapon specializations but I only tested shotguns for adept and engineer. The difference is so severe that you will start the game with as accurate shotguns as soldier gets by the end of the game.
It is enabled by default. you simply need to not disable it, which is required by some very old mods. If you ever do want to find it, it is under Actions > Settings.

"The LE1 Coalesced Merge feature of the mod manager must be enabled..."
How do I enable this feature? Or is it enabled by default?
If your game is already texture modded you are not able to update this mod.
