Wow, these armours are truly glorious. As much as I love the plunging neckline of her vanilla configuration, these really do look worthy of her character without reducing her to fan service (though as one of the fans being gleefully serviced, I could not help but get all drooly over her, and I may still switch back from time to time.) Thank you - and your team - so much for all the work. As I understand it, this isn't just a retexture, it requires a whole new set of meshes, which borders on Black Magic, at least for me. I think I'm with BubbleButton on this; it's either #1 or #4, though I lean toward #1 because of the colour gradient. Also, I almost didn't even look too deeply because I thought this might be a retexture. (Sorry, I simply can't be bothered to mess with textures; I have too many mods in use already; I'm still struggling to find a stable configuration that works all the way through the story...though ME3 9.0 may be part of my final answer.) Again, beautiful, thoughtfully-executed, character-worthy work. Outstanding!
Aww thank you <3, well there is no team, just me, at least for the porting of the armors part, though Jenya was kind enough to lend me the Samara body for some nice outfit fitting :) Yeah these are all new armors ported from Fortnite. Samara deserved the best so i had to deliver. Have fun with the new armors!
I am starting a new playthrough just to see the intro scene with her new armour...or is this a mistake? How do I make sure she's wearing her new armour when I first see her in Ilium...or is that even possible?
Sorry, I just don't understand the thing about texture.
"It is important to install all the content mods before starting to apply texture mods. So make sure you apply this mod before starting to install texture mods."
I read this and I assume there's going to be a texture applied for the mod, like you have to go to the Mass Effect Modder and apply the textures there. Is that not what it is?
I also got the notification before installing the mod saying;
"Textures are installed and this mod installs or modifies package files. You can continue to install this mod, but new files will not have updated textures that were previously installed. You will also no longer be able to install textures to this game target.
Texture mods should be installed after all package file mods are installed. Continue installation?"
I'm just confused by what this means. I installed your mod using ME3Tweaks Mod Manager, and it shows me that, but I continue anyway. Is it ok just to leave it as is or am I missing something. Thanks again for your time.
"It is important to install all the content mods before starting to apply texture mods" This is a general rule for mass effect modding. Content mods are the ones you install with ME3Tweaks, texture mods are the ones with the MEM installation. You always have to follow this rule while modding this game. Which you apparently you did not follow since while trying to install my mod it gave you the textures are installed warning. You should never install content mods after you already installed texture mods. Especially in LE2 cause it breaks the squadmate merge function. You need to restore your game from backup, install all the content mods, which this one is as well. Then install the texture mods you want.
Thank you. I was wondering what it was. I'll try that and see how it goes. Although, I tried playing again and everything seems to be working. Lucky on my part, I supposed.
Thanks again for your help. The outfits for Samara are bloody fire! Personally, I like the first one, but all your outfits are brilliant!
I can't decide between the far left or the far right... But one of those is my favorite lol. I love all the recent stuff you've put out. A wonderful improvement to mass effect characters. You're my go to for hairstyles and apparel mods so I love seeing that you expanded to adding for companions!
Thank you so much! I thought these armors really made her look like the Justicar that she is suppose to be. I'm almost done with adding stuff to companions, i'm actually kinda excited to go back to femshep with all the new stuff i learned. Femshep will be overflowing with new hairstyles and outfits again soon :)
