Its your mod so you can do what you want but not everyone uses PV. A lot use LE3 Diversification Project mod which is incompatible with PV so those people don't get these wonderful clothing/armor options for Jack.
So I take a 6 month-long break from playing Mass Effect and when I come back, there I see that you posted so many new outfits mods. Neat. And congratulations, most of them are very cool. I also like the armors but more importantly I love the fact that you've given us choices between different outfits. Thanks.
So, I began with my favorite character, of course and I installed this mod. I think I'm missing something: I read and reread the descripttion but the outcome is the same: Jack doesn't wear your Nihilist outfit.
I installed Casual Hubs, sure but I did installed the patch. I also installed New Squadmates Casuals which requires Casual Hubs. Do you think that's what's causing the issue? In which order should I install the mods: yours before Casual Hubs or after?
Here's my log if needed: https://me3tweaks.com/modmanager/logservice/logviewer?logid=1b7f7dec3a8298e2c772036950505c46
Hey SabuChan, you were missed! I assume you mean Jack is not wearing Nihilist outfit as a casual? Unfortunately there seems to be something wrong with the log, i'm only seeing error fetching log :404 when i open it. Until you can get me a new one, there are some basic stuff i can talk about. First of all my mod has to be installed after Casual hubs so that it would see the patch and let you choose an outfit. If you installed New Squadmates Casuals mod then you need to make sure you choose No New Jack Casual Outfit choice during installation of that mod. Otherwise that mod's casual outfit for Jack would override my casual outfit since it mounts above my mod.
Yes, sorry, I meant Jack's not wearing the Nihilist as a casual.
After reading your reply, I did remember that I chose an outfit in New Squadmate Casuals (NSC) for Jack. I figured that enabling/disabling mods would let me switch between outfits. So, I disabled NSC but Jack didn't wear your casual: she wore the regular Casual Hubs outfit for Jack.
I guess I need to vanilla the game and reinstall NSC and to choose "no new Casual" for Jack, which will not be a big deal because after seeing it in-game, I'm not a fan of the NSC's version.
That's weird my mod should have override the casual hubs look when you disabled NSC. Maybe don't choose stuff for Jack while installing casual hubs too.
Ok. I tried again and I found the issue: it was me LOL
Yep, I forgot to toggle between Jack's outfits in the Team menu. Silly me. So, I installed, Casual Hubs, NSC and your mod and everything went according to plan. Yay!
Thanks for your help and I'm endorsing the mod. Btw, congrats on the mod: I just love Jack's Nihilist outfit.
Thank you so much, honestly Nihilist outfit seemed to be quite controversial among the users for some reason, so it really means a lot that you liked it <3 Glad it all got fixed with your game, enjoy the new outfits!
"honestly Nihilist outfit seemed to be quite controversial among the users for some reason"
Did none of them say why was that? I'm quite curious because I really love it. I think it really fits Jack's character but to each, their own, I guess. ^_^
I don't know, though they were kinda eager to remove it from their mods or never really use it, which was kinda hurtful tbh but what can you do. I thought it really fit her character too. It was an outfit i made it by combining different pieces so i was kinda proud of it. i'm glad i'm not the only one who liked it on her :)
Pff, their loss... Be assured that at least one of your fan loves it. I DL'd the mod to see Jack wearing this outfit specifically. Oh and mod endorsed, obviously ^_^
Can't thank you enough for making this. Sure, the DLC outfit was alright - so long as got rid of the dumb shades - but these are even better. Excellent work!
I do love the outfits though! They perfectly fit Jack's style. I just think it would be jarring for her to start with no hair but then when you change outfit, she suddenly has hair
Do you mean as casual outfits or combat outfits? I do get asks like this for some of the other companion outfits too. I might end up gathering them all for a mod for femshep.
Is this the first time you laid eyes on another outfit with black and red combinations, if so my condolences. May i suggest a clothing store to get familiarize with other such outfits. Do try to stop yourself from accusing the store workers from selling stuff to batman villains though. Might cause you to get kicked out or worse laughed at. Wouldn't want you turning into one of those villains in retribution.
Yeah well it's a free mod, that i do it for FREE. It is also a mod that i do it for myself foremost, so no i don't take criticism or weird s#*! like this. Because why the hell would i ? Don't like the mod? There is the door.
Y'all don't realize how many comments we get that are like "meh, that thing you worked hard on in your free time that you really wanted to see in game was a waste of time". This isn't light criticism, it's dismissive jackassery. We'll take constructive criticism, we do it all the time. But you'll excuse a mod developer for not having patience with sh!tty comments about what some rando thinks after looking at a screenshot for three seconds.
You misunderstand - I loved it and thought it was absolutely hilarious. I was crying with laughter for about ten minutes and I can only imagine that the original poster truly has turned to a life of comic book villainy after being roasted so hard.
Thank you for clarifying, it is hard to understand intent through texts. Especially when two people write similar stuff, unfortunately it does sound a bit like getting attack for my comment. I'm glad that wasn't your intent.
Well jack isn't exactly in the LE3 as a fighting companion. But EGM adds her to the N7 missions as an option i think. So i might port it for LE3 too eventually.
Yeah, I always play with EGM... But also... These seem more apropriate for Grissom Academy instructor than what she's in, at least 2 out of three do...
Cool mod. Just wondering does the sheen on her hair come from a lighting effect, or is it part of the texture? Sometimes I want to get into modding armor for Mass Effect but don't know where to start.
Hair texture in my mod is a combination of the sims 4 hair and vanilla long hair. Hair materials are different than armor materials. Armor materials tend to have cubemaps that gives shine to the armors which is i assume what you want. You could check out https://github.com/ME3Tweaks/LegendaryExplorer/wiki/How-to-get-your-meshes-setup-for-import-into-a-PCC this tutorial, also i would suggest joining to the Mass Effect Modding Server.

Still, thanks for the response :D

PS: here is a diag without textures check because yes, since then I installed textures and here's a diag with texture check just in case.
