I added freckles using the code and instructions, but it is showing it around my neck instead of face/complexion, and the makeup markings shows around a part of the neck as well instead of on eyes. Is that the seam that was mentioned in the description? any way to work around this yet ? thanks
Ah, that's my bad on the screenshots. It should be HED_Diff, not Hed_Scalp_Diff. If you put this in HED_Scalp_Diff, it should fix the issue with the neck: BIOG_HMF_HED_PROMorph_R.Diffuse.HMF_HED_PROBase_Scalp_Bald_Diff
Then entering the mod's complexion code to HED_Diff should properly apply it. Sorry about that!
Hi! Thank you so much for this mod. I'm glad I dont have to use a mem to get freckles. I do want to bring something to your attention. When following the instructions they are correct on where the code needs to be placed on the description page but when you look at the screenshot its not showing the correct area. Its showing HED_Scalp_Diff and not HED_Diff. I only noticed because I followed the screenshot. I just wanted to give you a heads up on this.
thank you so much for this mod. i've always wanted to add freckles to my shep's face but i don't like the hassle with texture mods and how they have to be installed in a certain way. allowing us to add the freckles throw the Trilogy Save Editor is such a great idea and it means people that don't like to install textures don't have to miss out on something like this. great work and thank you for sharing this with us
I really like the idea of using codes with trilogy save editor to add new textures to the game rather than MEM for people who don't want to install textures to their games. Good job on this and thank you for sharing it with the rest of us <3
Thank you, and you're very welcome!! I almost always end up downloading freckle complexions if I end up modding a game, and was kinda bummed I couldn't do it for MELE without texture mods because personally, I change up my mods wayyyyy too often to use them. I don't really remember how I came up with the idea, but I'm thrilled to bits it worked and other people can enjoy it too <3
