    I love little consistency fixes like this.
    I'm pretty sure I installed LE1 DP after I'd already finished the quest, tho ... is there a flag I can check in my LE1 save before I import it into LE2?

      I'm pretty sure the only flag is set by LE1DP at the end of the game, which is a marker saying you played with that mod installed.

    Hi and thanks for uploading this mod, much appreciated!!!

    I just have a question: I realised too late that my version of LE1 Diversification Project was too old for this mod to work apparently. Is there a way to tweak the save file with the save editor in order to make this mod work anyway? For obvious reasons I don't want to play all of ME 1 again... xD

      Understandable! Open your savegame before the conversation with the guard with the editor and go to Raw Plot --> Booleans and check 8133 and/or add it if it is missing. That will make your save be flagged as played with LE1DP 😃

    Is this compatible with Casual Hubs for LE2? Both mods change BioD_CitHub_100Transition_LOC_INT.pcc, for example.

      Casual Hubs edits the conversation as well and this mod overrides its changes, since both versions would not make sense to coexist.

      The functionality of the mod itself is not affected at all. We accounted for it.

    Love this as I do use the mod that restored it to be Pallin in ME1 that dies from Sovereign crashing through the turian cruiser, although LE3 Bailey chat is going to need adjusting now as on talking to him he tells about having to kill Pallin (shown in some comic for Mass Effect regarding that)

    always lost restored cut/lost content, always wondered in a sense why that Security not mentioned the weapons even. Nice to see it was just cut because of the Pallin relation in dialog.

      regarding the bailey chat, both project variety and diversification project already edit the conversation with bailey to account for this. per the mod description, that's why this got made - it's designed for players who use those mods to ensure consistency across the trilogy.

      weird, I use DP for LE3 and on talking with Bailey in his office he still refers to  having to kill Pallin, hence my commenting here.

      Maybe DP for 3 has a bug or has yet to introduce the feature. I am not sure since I have no time to actually play these games 😭. It might be worth contacting the author just in case you have a mod conflict or to make sure if the edit is not yet implemented.

      you can check out the whole scene in the media section, which should hopefully answer your question? it mostly adds extra stuff, but because it's a restructure of the path through the conversation, obviously not every single line is present in both versions. but i'd say it's comparable with other vanilla conversations where your paragon/renegade dialogue wheel choices, import status, previous choices and current squadmates can create alternate paths through a conversation.

      It unlocks an edited version of a normally non accessible path due to story order changes the game suffered. This new version, however, is ONLY accessible if you import a savegame played with Diversification Project. The other version remains but has less priority if a DP playthrough is checked.

      It was that scene that played if you were reinstated as Spectre before it? But you always have to pass through the entrance before being reinstated so that scene can never play without save editing?

      It's from that same conversation, yes, but there is another inaccessible branch which was originally intended if you'd rejected spectre status so doesn't reference being a spectre. We used that as a starting point because, as you mention, in vanilla it's not possible to get that status restored prior to going through the security gate. Then there are some additional tweaks for consistency, etc., it's not a direct restoration. Again, the entire scene is available on the media tab if you are confused about what's been changed.

      Glad you enjoy them. ME2 barely has inaccessible content, the files were mostly stripped from it. That said, I would say that the big majority of it has been recovered between beccatoria and I, either through the Unofficial Patch, or standalone mods of ours like Early Recruitment, Apollo Restoration...
