Curious if this can be done with third person POV but not just removing the zoom but also removing the shoving the character halfway to the edge of the screen making it over nobodies shoulder view.. I hate "over the shoulder" cameras, I am constantly walking into things which was tolerable in ME1/2 because I could holster my weapon after combat but in ME3 that isn't possible... searching for stuff that was missed is an exercise in frustration as Shep is constantly running into stuff .
I'm not entirely sure anymore, but iirc, in the original ME3 there was a way to turn weapons on/off during missions or on the Citadel. I've tried porting that trick, but I don't think it's possible anymore because there were too many changes made even in the binaries in the LE version. But I feel your pain about that^^
But I will also look into expanding the mod so that it retains the camera setting even when the weapon is drawn. But it's basically something that anyone can integrate into the patch themselves. It's maybe a thing of a couple of minutes. Max, 10 Open the SFXGame.pcc with the Package Editor, search for the func, copy its name into the json file, convert it to m3m again, execute/reinstall the mod again and voilà

The Mod modifies the SFXGame.pcc file.
Or you can modify the mod itself to set the value back to 120.
Check out the Posts section of the LE2 version.
There I described how you can change my mods to another value
