Will this conflict with "Tweaks and Cheats. Extra basic outfits and hats"? I know it already adds the red and white armor, the dancer outfit, holo outfit and orange/black dress. But i love the armor options this one has, too! Would it just create duplicates
If I remember right, outfits/armors have ID numbers that are set by the modder. If two mods use the same ID number for their outfits/armors then they would conflict. I'm not 100% certain how the game would handle that sort of conflict, if it would load only one outfit/armor of the ones that have identical ID numbers, or if it just would load any that have identical ID numbers. Identical ID numbers may also break the outfit/armor selection in the game.
As for the mod you asked about, I haven't tried it, and I don't know if it would conflict. The tweaks and cheats appear to be a separate file, so they should be fine to use with mine. As for the mod file with the outfits, if it has identical ID numbers for outfits then they would conflict with mine, and if they don't then you would see duplicate outfits.
It might be possible, however it's been many years since I've modded any of the Mass Effect games, so I'd almost have to relearn it from scratch. I tried looking over the tutorial for the modding tools when I made this, and couldn't make head or tails of it, so this mod wouldn't even exist if it wasn't just a copy and paste of something I had made previously.
Change to an outfit/armor that's not from the mod, and then try to change back. Note that it may also be a compatibility issue with another mod (when two outfits use the same ID it causes issues).
I wasn't aware you could download with ME3Tweaks. Besides, don't most people have NexusMods downloads configured to be opened in Vortex or Nexus Mods Manager? I didn't want to give people to "Download With Mod Manager" option, and then they don't understand why it keeps downloading in the wrong mod manager.
hey this is amazing! I beg of you, is there any chance you could port Ash's pink stripe armor (casual 7) to LE1? Its a gorgeous model and sadly no one has put it in Legendary
I don't expect I'd be able to. I've never actually modded Mass Effect 1 before. I also didn't bother actually learning how the modding tools for Mass Effect Legendary Edition work, but since I was already used to INI file edits for Mass Effect 2 and 3 I was able to muddle my way through it.
This mod is basically exactly the same INI file edits I would do in the original game, but turned into a DLC mod, which was super easy since the modding tool basically makes the DLC mod for me and I just rename my edited INI file and drop it in the folder. The outfits in this mod already exist in the game, so adding them doesn't require importing any new assets.
Adding something that's completely new? I have no idea how to do that. Could I just copy the original mod and recreate it for LE1? Possibly, but I can't guarantee that it would be that simple.
I've never played ME3 with a male character (I find the voice acting boring), and it takes so long to get to a point in a new playthrough where you can take screenshots I would have needed someone else's save game to do it.
Someone did submit screenshots, and I approved them, but then they disappeared after I clicked the save button. I've never approved user submitted screenshots before, so I'm not sure if that's normal.
