If you have any music suggestions for the squad selection, please feel free to share it with me. I'll consider adding them if they fit the theme and if I also like the songs. Thanks!
Nice mod :3. I've made a playlist for the youtube available tracks on your list, maybe you wanna copy it and add it to your description for convenience sake.
Also I noticed that the link below 30) Revolt Production Music - Mind Games forwards you to Revolt Production Music - A New Dimension and the link below 29) Revolt Production Music - A New Dimension is then prolly forwarding to Revolt Production Music - Mind Games?
Since the ME3 multiplayer isn't part of the Legendary Edition, I think this is a great way to at least have part of the multiplayer implemented. I had forgotten how good some of the music from the multiplayer sounded
Looking at the squad menu with music from Halo makes me question how nobody has yet made a Master Chief's Armor mod for Shepard; that would be lowkey sick
Wow! I really like the concept and I'm very tempted to install it.
I've got a question: since I like several tracks, will it be possible to change mi-playthrough or the one you chosse at installation will be the track for your entire playthrough?
Also, I intend to install textures, if I want to change tracks, will I have to vanilla the game beforehand? Or can you change the track on the fly, in game?
Good to hear that! Yes you can freely change them anytime. Just re-apply the mod with a different track selected. Yes, you can do that after installing textures this mod only contains mergemods and no content mod.
I would like to suggest the Mass Effect 2 credits song and Mass Effect 3 Leaving Earth song. This last specially (for obvious reasons) will match perfectly with the game.
Changing music in Mass Effect is really easy the problem with music mods is that copyright will bite you in the ass and the mods will probably be removed.
@Le0thedragondweller Thank you! It's relatively not hard to customize the combat music too. I tried a few one before from Andromeda and they fits really well, halo should also work well.
You can do a lot to not have copyright issues. I've taken several measures to prevent any issues with this mod.
Firstly, the mod is strictly non-commercial, which means I'm not making any money off of it. Donations are turned off, the donation point system also turned off. I've also made sure to credit every composer whose music is featured in the mod. In addition to that, I've followed each company's Game Content Usage Rules, if they have any.
From my understanding, most companies/composers are generally okay with the use of their music in mods like this one, as long as the mod is respectful, credits the original composers, and remains non-commercial.
For example Microsoft allows to use game content from Microsoft games as long as your project is non-commercial. They even allow you to receive donations too or money from ads but you cannot sell the content you made. But you need to include a copyright notice crediting microsoft and their games which i did with Halo. There's a few other points but you can read more about it at their website.
Kinda the same with EA, content should be non-commercial. It cannot be harmful, inappropriate, etc. Almost the same as Microsoft.
If you cool with them they usually cool with you as long as you follow these principles. Of course not everyone but in general.
I don't know if nexus mods looks at usage rules or simply removes any music with copyrights, since basically every radio mod for cyberpunk that has copyrighted music gets removed shortly after upload. Anyways I was simply pointing out that even if it's relatively easy to change the music in the trilogy there's a reason for not many music mods to be uploaded.
I love the mod so far, but I feel like there aren't enough "tactical" tracks that better fit the planning screens. A few suggestions: Hitman 3 - Planning screen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZb1e34G5yo
