Love this mod for LE2. Sorry if you answered this but do you think you will port this to 3 as well?

I might port some of the Ajax sets into their own mod, but other mods have the N7 Kaidan sets and vanilla Kaidan sets covered. We'll see.

You're welcome, I'm glad you like the mod and thanks for the pics!

And I definitely agree, Male Shepard needs more mods and I'm trying to deliver :)

What are your future projects if i may ask?

Also, would you be willing to add some of these into ME1. I'm aware its nothing like adding into ME2 but i think its something that could really blow on the nexus since we have such little mods like that for ME1.

Future projects? Sure, but my plans could always change, so no guarantees: Future updates to my Armory series (EDI, Ashley, Kaidan), more content for Male Shepard, whether it's casual or formal outfits or potentially some more armor edits, and I will be porting my Samara Armor mod to LE2.

As for LE1... there's a reason why there aren't a lot of armor mods for it.  It's a vastly different system that unfortunately is quite time consuming to set up, especially if you want to include multiple armor choices.  If I were to include all of the armors in this mod, the method I would use to make these armors work in LE1 would require a separate file for each and a separate install option for each, meaning you could only use one at a time.  Furthermore, I'd have to replace an armor set to get it to work, so I'd replace the Iconic Onyx Heavy set, for example.

However, there is a mod in dev that will make the armor system much easier to add additions to, so if that releases, I'll likely release this mod for LE1.  As for now, it's very low on the priority list because of how time consuming it is to set up, test, and ensure every install option works the way it should, along with needing to patch for other mods.

That is so good to hear! I hope LE1 will be getting all those beautiful armor mods as well!

Thank you for your hard work!

Thank you for all the mods you release for Male-Shep, and companions. I do hope they release that mod for ME1, because there's a lot of choices for Fem-shep armor wise, which is why currently running a playthrough on her. But I enjoy playing male-shep more and I'd love to have a few more choices for him in ME1.

I recently updated to the latest version after not playing ME2 for a while, and wanted to finish my playthrough so I can do another run of ME3 soon. Since I was in the middle of a playthrough, and I remembered accepting the Council to make my MShep a Spectre, but the Spectre version of the armor didn't show up anywhere. It doesn't really bother me since I'm too far into the game to go back to that save before I met with the Council (I'm about to get the Reaper IFF), but wanted to let you know anyway. :)

Hey, thanks for the report.  Could you send me a log + diag and attach a save for me if you can?  Thank you!  If you don't have textures installed, you can skip the texture check.

We have potentially narrowed it down to Anderson and Hackett Consistency Mod (ME2LE) and an update has been pushed for it, but I would still appreciate a log to confirm the issue.

You can also check bool 68132 in the save editor under raw plot, that is the Ajax Spectre bool.

Thanks again!  Yes, it appears you had the Anderson and Hackett Consistency Mod (ME2LE) installed.  That prevented the sequence to run to unlock the armor.  For future playthroughs, please update to the latest version of Anderson and Hackett Consistency Mod (ME2LE)!

If you want it now, you'll need to manually check that bool in the save editor, save, and load the edited file.

Thank you. I appreciate the help.
Will it be safe to update the mods, even if I installed textures, or do I need to remove the textures and restore the game before I can update? I ask because the Ajax Spectre isn't showing up when I tried checking the bool for it (I likely goofed it up since I've never used the raw plot in the save editor before).

If you have textures installed, always restore your game before you update the mods.  The bool should be working, so make sure you save the file using the save editor, and then load your edited save.  The mod update is for the embassy sequence, so it won't retroactively add the Ajax to the locker, so it has to be save edited in for your current playthrough.

Here's a quick vid I made too for a visual! It has worked on both mine and Khaar's ends, so I want to make sure everything is working for you, too.

Okay, that video helped and I have the armor in my locker now (Only because I realized I needed to update my save editor to 2.2.1 when I saw you using it in your video. >_>''' ).

Again, thank you so much for the help and answering my restoring the game before I update question. I wasn't sure and now I know. :) Love the mod btw.

Hey I'm loving this mod so much! Ajax is one of my all time favourites and it's so good to see an actually detailed/worn N7 texture and not a black blob one  lol. I had a very dumb question tho, since I'm running insanity sentinel for the first time, does regenration rate on your armor mean health regeneration speed or power recharge speed? Great job again!

Thank you, I'm glad you like my retexture and how I kept the worn look!

To answer your question, it's health regeneration rate.  I grab my armor bonuses from other armors in the game, and surprisingly, Mass Effect 2 doesn't have a lot of parts/armors that offer power recharge speed.

    Thank you for the mod!
    No known incompatibilities.
When I use ESA 2.4.2 and your mod v. 1.0  together. And have no helmet on my Shep or merely a visor equipped. Then one of your mod's helmets becomes the default breathing helmet when on a mission where "breathing gear is required" by the game.

Far as I understand the ESA page and its... many... comments about the Cerberus breather: the game defaults to the "first" breathing enabled helmet it finds in your locker (or game files, or something). With vanilla LE2, this is N7 closed helmet. With ESA, this is Cerberus breather. With ESA + this mod, it's one of your helmets.

Q1: could I simply :-D "change" the order of breathing gear in your mod/my game around by myself somehow so that ESA's Cerb. breather stays #1? Or would that be too advanced, require many edits?

Q2: you mention shop/research integration with ESA coming up. Are you also considering to keep ESA's Cerberus breather as first breathing equipment in a future update?

Hmm, I've never noticed that since I use ESA's armor selection to always make sure I'm using my preferred breather/helmet, so for now I would suggest you do the same, as is suggested in ESA's comment section for those who don't like the Cerberus breather.

Honestly, I'm not the most familiar with LE2's armor system, so I'm not sure why one of my helmets would now be considered first.  It's not something I'm worried about troubleshooting either at the moment since ESA's armor selection before missions basically fixes that problem anyway.

The integration with ESA is something that is done on both of our ends.  Khaar will add my armors to ESA's framework, and I add strings and other things to my mod so they can "communicate" with each other, for lack of a better word.  When that happens, you'll be able to purchase or research the armor sets my mod adds, and in that case the Cerberus breather will likely be prioritized.

      Thanks for elaborating!

(I run Mnemonic Visor on my current vanguard, and am pretty bad at remembering whether or not the next mission/planet has breathable atmosphere, or will have throughout the mission. I can manage manually by re-loading a save before the galaxy map and selecting then in cases where I forgot to. It was just cool tiny QoL to go from Visor to Breather automatically.)

I want to say something corny like Holy Moly Batman, but for reals, thank you once again for adding more great stuff for male shep. It is appreciated, and I'll drop an endorsement once that pesky 15-minute window drops. I know there's a similar armor set for ME3, but it doesn't cover the helmets, so fingers crossed that you drop these fantastic sets for ME3.

Thank you so much!  I love making stuff for Male Shepard, so more things will definitely come :)

I might make some of the armors available for LE3, like my Ajax edits and Cerberus edits but I know that WiredTexan's Kaidan and Liara Armor Collection (LE3) does add all of Kaidan's armor and helmets for Male Shepard, if you aren't already aware of the mod.

That one's nice, but I meant this one. N7 Ashley and Kaidan Armor- Shepard https://www.nexusmods.com/masseffectlegendaryedition/mods/1061 it has the Kaidan and Ashley armor, or N7 variant for their armor, which I love, but the author never put in helmets for the armor, so it looks a bit off whenever they have to wear helmets in cutscenes.

Anyways, thank you for the reply; you and a few other mod authors, MorningAngel in particular, give the same love to male shep, and I do appreciate that since I enjoy playing both sheps in my playthroughs.

Me too!  It's such a great way to make an armor feel individualized for Shepard, and I'll plug N7 Ashley and Kaidan Armor for Shepard again because the N7 textures of Kaidan's armor are so good and I'm very thankful for the permissions the author gave me to use them in my port :D

I love that mod too! Ashley's armor is one I always wished was available for Femshep in ME3, because it's basically her ME2 armor but without the collar piece. That's still my favorite set, with the curved shoulder pads. The only problem I have with Kaiden's is the uniform collar under the armor, because it doesn't tend to look great with the red colors of N7. Other than that, it's also one of my favorites.
