Thanks for this. Reading these has added another element to my enjoyment of the game; they do a surprising amount to make the world outside the Normandy and the hubs feel more like it exists, and there's some fun sci-fi in there. They're well-paced and seamlessly integrated.
I haven't read any of the ones you chose not to include yet (until revisiting this mod page I forgot it even mentioned there were others) but I did appreciate how the articles I've seen so far were on-theme with ideas about synthetic/virtual life, so thanks for that too. I also forgot until I reread the description that you wrote some emails from squadmates etc - they must have been seamless since it never occurred to me any non-GBC emails were custom content.
Endorsed. Such a small addition with a huge impact. Now I understand why that lady in ME3 was pissed off about the Huerta Memorial Hospital. Also, that story is a great parallel to Shepard's own resurrection, and the question of whether it's really Shepard or an AI with an organic operating system that thinks it's Shepard. A great way to introduce lore that the player might have otherwise never seen.
Great mod. I ended up looking forward to reading the news after each mission. man I was invested in the 'ghost ship' story. This is such a great way to read these additional materials Bioware wrote for the game.
This mod has genuinely made my experience in ME2 so much better. The news updates are so cool, and the notes added to it by crewmates warmed my heart so much. Now when I stream this game to my friend, our favorite part is to go up into the cabin and read every GBC message in the inbox.
I'd like to thank the community for nominating CDNE for the "I never knew I needed this" award. I'm so happy to see so many people have enjoyed the mod. Happy holidays!
With the most recent update to ME3Tweaks, this mod was not working after installing it with the batch installer on a new game, even though it was working fine with my mostly identical previous modlist. Deactivating a seemingly unrelated mod (In this case the Rich Resource removing one, but I don't think which mod it was mattered) and then reactivating it seems to be the kick it needed to get it working again. I don't know how to say it technically, but I think the batch installer failed to do the email updating thingy afterword like it's supposed to, but fiddling with the installed list got it to wake up. Just posting my experience in case someone else has a similar issue. Edit: You just gotta click on Manage Target and then close the window that pops up after batch installing.

If you have the time and inclination, would it be possible to do the same for the messages in the iOS app Mass Effect: Datapad, please?
Thank you for providing this wonderful mod <3
