Overhauls a ton of sounds ported from LE2 and LE3 into LE1. For a better continuity and crispier audio.

DEFINITIVE AUDIO OVERHAUL FOR LE1
WHAT DOES THIS MOD DO?
This mod overhauls a lot of the sound effects used in the first Mass Effect game by mixing them with sound effects used in Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3.
The idea was to create a more unified experience since a lot of the sounds used in later titles weren't present in the first game.
WHAT EXACTLY HAS BEEN CHANGED?
Most sound files found in the BIOCMaterials.pcc and also some found in SFXGame.pcc. To be exact:
- Gun sounds
- Foley
- Explosions
- Impact sounds
- Abilities
On paper that doesn't seem like a lot, but in reality we're talking about over a hundred files that have been changed. Check out my gameplay demos if you want to find out for yourself.
WHAT IF I LIKE THE ORIGINAL SOUND DESIGN?
That's totally fine! Also, I know that there will probably demands to have versions that only affect certain areas. E.g. keeping the original gun sounds. Currently I'm happy to ship this one version, but I'm looking into creating more options for you to choose.
HOW ABOUT COMPATIBILITY?
Currently, there are no known issues in terms of compability. I know Knighthawk is working on a mod that will alter some files as well, but if that's causing any issues I'm pretty sure we'll patch things so they work together as I want to use this mod myself.
HOW DO I INSTALL?
You need to use ME3Tweaks Mod Manager. It cannot be installed without it. Just simply drag and drop the .zip file into the Manager or use the Mod Manager Download. Either install the mod immediately, or import it into your mod library, and then click "Apply Mod". There are no additional mods needed.
HOW DO I UNINSTALL?
That's not that simple. To uninstall, you will have to restore the original game from a backup you created with ME3Tweaks Mod Manager. Keep in mind that you'll have to install your other mods again as well after that.
DOES THIS MOD WORK IN MY LANGUAGE?
Currently I don't see any issue why this mod shouldn't work with your specific language. Although I recommend using the INT version in english for the best compatibility.
