Probably not, unfortunately. After spending a while tinkering with the OT ME2 Cyberbabe hair, it just doesn't want to show up in-game, despite going through the exact same steps as with the VI hair. I've done as much troubleshooting as I can, and although it's a problem I'd like to solve (things should just work, dangit), I don't have bandwidth to go any deeper into it.
Will you port hairstyles from other OT mods?
Probably not! In particular, there are complications with the big OT GPG mod that includes hair models created for the SIMS (like Toyger hair). If there's a different mod that you're interested in seeing ported to LE, you're welcome to ask, but it will depend on what the OT mod author says. So you might want to start by asking the original author and post back here only if their mod page says that others can use their work.
The hair looks weird and patchy with big bald spots, how do I fix it?
When you edit your save to add the hair mesh, make sure that you also remove the Hair_Diff value: expand the Texture Parameters section and then next to HAIR_Diff, click remove. The original README mentioned that but wasn't super clear; I've updated it, and apologise for not explaining it very well in the first iteration!
Noticed that the text used to replace the hair is in lowercase (biog_hmf_hir_vi.Hair_Vanilla_VI.HMF_HIR_VI_MDL) while the game code already there is all caps (BIOG_HMF_HIR_PRO.PonyTail.HMF_HIR_Ptl_MDL) Will this cause problems?
Question are you planning to port that big hair mod pack from ME3 over to MELE as well? is so is it possible if you get the chance to port the toyger hairstyle from that pack in LE?
Any porting of hair mods would have to be done through the original mod author, and with permission from the owners of the original hairs. You can do a personal port, but that means it cannot be released on the Nexus without express permission from both.
@KayMarieRose, thanks for the reminder. I understand the need to be mindful of others' work; that's why I generally work with existing game assets. That said, the laptop issue was thankfully a power brick hiccup, so I went digging into ME3 mods; it looks like the Toyger hair was part of a GPG mod, and they've posted that there are some complications with porting their mods. So I won't be making any further inquiries or doing any work related to that. Sorry to disappoint!
Hi, thanks for the kind words and the inquiry. I created a sticky post to address this; the answer is maybe, but it depends on what model you're thinking of - you're welcome to add details if there's a particular style you like, but otherwise I'll probably only add Cyberbabe (if I can find the unique model) as I'm not super fond of most OT hairstyles.
Now that I know how to do it, it would probably be pretty simple. Of course, it all depends on when I can get my laptop situation resolved, since mine decided to stop working this morning. XD
Following up on this (thankfully the laptop issue was just a power brick hiccup), I was working from an OT ME3 install and the Cyberbabe hair model looks the same as what we have in LE, so a mod from that won't do us any good. I'm setting up an install of OT ME1 to see if there's a different model there. But this will take some time because I'm probably also going to set up a secondary LE trilogy install to test mods, so I don't have to keep resetting my active mods and textures, and I'm about to get sidetracked with US holidays. Anyway, you probably don't care about all that :) But I'll see what I can do about getting the Cyberbabe hair (as seen on Faces of Gaming) ported over, assuming I can find the model.

Mesh: BIOG_HMF_HIR_PRO.Mom.HMF_HIR_Mom_MDL
And i always found the ME2 Classy a better version compared to ME3 and LE
Mesh: BIOG_HMF_HIR_PRO.classy.HMF_HIR_Cls_MDL
Cyberbabe being next is perfect : )
