Thanks so much for this! My save files got corrupted and when I imported someone else's save to play ME2 with I couldn't get Insanity II to trigger at the end because the game just counted it as Insanity I. Going back to ME1 and using your save gave it to me :)
worked perfectly for me! thank you so much for doing this for all the achievement hunters with terrible aim T__T hope you're enjoying the rest of the trilogy!
hmmm if I knew for sure it wasn't working for anyone I'll remove it. With save games I can't do a lot other than remove it or try a slightly farther back save for folks. (other than asking you to double check that your own gameplay settings aren't bumping the difficulty down).
Which is why you drop in the folder into your save folder and not the just the save itself. "Put the Folder named Vera01 here; [Drivename]:\Users\{username]\Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Save\ME1 or where ever your save folder is. "
It is working fine for others, and to confirm concept I downloaded other peoples saves and played as their characters. But it requires you put the profile folder with the save into your save folder not just a raw save into the save folder or another profile. I even had a friend pass me just a save and I made up a close enough profile folder name and that loaded fine but it must be in a folder.
I will be posting my insanity saves as I go through the games, I will also be trying to give the saves as much extra help as possible (like super gun and armor with this one), unless someone else gets around to doing it before me. :)
