About this mod

A flexible re-integration of The Arrival mission, adding additional context and quest-logs. The DLC is hidden until the player triggers it, and is exposed after the main campaign if you still haven't triggered it.

Permissions and credits
Immersive Arrival Integration Mod is a mod that re-times and adjusts the missions pertaining to Admiral Hackett's mission in Mass Effect 2, so that none of its features are lost, but depending on how you choose to play Mass Effect 2, the triggers and events adjust themselves, to retain the canonical endgame status of the story.

Features:
  • Postpones the automatically-triggered cutscenes by the e-mail or cabin terminals when Arrival DLC becomes available, until Suicide Mission is over.
  • Prior to Suicide Mission, a new Clickable is available in your cabin when Arrival becomes available to manually start the cutscene, that begins the questline. Only start Arrival when you are ready.
  • Once Suicide Mission is done, the ordinary Arrival DLC behavior resumes, where the terminals auto-trigger a cutscene.
  • 3 new emails have been added, depending on which order you play ME2 in, to remind you of Arrival being an urgent (and main plot) mission.
  • The final debriefing can now play as a post-credits scene, as long as you've beaten the Arrival Mission prior to completing Suicide Mission.

There are two different versions of this mod you can download, but the first is the one described above in its full capacity:

1) Immersive Arrival Integration: This is the full extent of its features. It not only postpones the cutscene by the e-mail terminal which used to block access and forced you to start the Arrival Questline, but it re-adjusts mission flow by having the final debriefing appear as a post-credits scene, and extra quest-logs/e-mails to keep track of the Alliance's next move. This version has additional compatibility with the Unofficial LE2 Patch, as well as the option of seperating Lair of the Shadow Broker from the Liara Questline on Illium with a bit of time passing between completing it, and Cerberus providing the intel. Lair of the Shadow Broker and Arrival are practically main plot despite originally releasing as DLC, and deserve to be better integrated with the flow of ME2's main campaign.

2) Simple Arrival Integration: This version of the mod only deals with the Arrival e-mail terminal cutscene-triggers, allowing you to access the e-mails while Arrival DLC can be started, without forcing you to trigger the cutscene. Instead, the new Clickable is available in your cabin until you complete the game, and the auto-trigger will return, just like in Version 1. Unlike version 1, this edition does not change anything regarding the mission-flow, of Arrival.

Compatibility:
Version 1.0 of this mod has compatibility with Unofficial LE2 Patch only. It deals with files used in a couple of other mods thus limiting the compatibility with some mods.

NB! May conflict with DLC Timings by Khaar and Trigger Buttons and Early Recruitment by Beccatoria. Those are good alternatives that are more user-customizable but in slightly different ways. I don't recommend using both at the same time for now.
