If you have an issue, please explain the specific steps that led up to the problem and bring a log/diagnostic (Mod Manager > Help > Logs and Diagnostics). This makes it easier for me to try to help you.
I have not tested it, but I believe they should, since my mod changes how many points are required, while Paragade Persuasion (to my understanding) makes it easier to pass those kinds of checks. (and using them together will likely make passing the requirements in this scene even easier.)
Thank you so much for this, it always bugged me why the persuasion skill needed was so high especially for a place we tend to go early as the colony is under attack, I usually go get Liara first and then to Feros and have had to use Trilogy Save Editor to up my charm points in the past with that but now, I had 6 and it worked perfectly and I got the best ending. :)
BioWare clearly wanted players to do Feros right before Virmire, but they still gave people the option to do it first because ME1 leans a little too hard on the RP aspect.
The funny thing is, when I played this game for the first time I remember that Feros was my first choice to go to because it was presented as an "emergency" situation.
YES! EXACTLY THIS! (installing this for round two)
I went to Feros first, because of the three options presented, I thought Feros seemed the most urgent "...under Geth Attack". I've seen a big playthrough of the series, and know there are some missions you can miss, if you don't take care of them in time. I thought this was one of them...
Then I got the end of the mission, and they started talking about "this is the Cipher you were looking for", and "I can give you the answer to your search" ... My Shepard hadn't even learned OF a Cipher yet. lol
Fortunately, I am a very patient man when it comes to games with a lot of story, and it wasn't too hard for me to load up a save from before I chose my first mission and carry on. But I'll tell you, I have a guide up for which order to do the missions in now for best story, that's for sure. lol
Thanks so much for this. Crazy for Bioware to require 75% paragon and 12 charm just to net a reward of more paragon. Bit pointless. I'd have set the check at 10, but meh. 10 still a hard check for relatively early game, but very attainable for paragon players. This mod saves those of us with OCD from going back to play Novaria first, or spending time making our own mod. So thanks. A historic wrong righted.
May I ask which files in the Coalesced file did you edit to make this? My paragon points are currently 10 and I can't get any higher and have only Feros to go to next. I just want to quickly edit my Coalesced to make the Jeong speech check 10 instead of 12 without resorting to fiddling with a mod manager to use your mod, thanks.
you can't edit dialogue through the Coalesced file. you have to edit the localization files using LEX (Legendary Explorer). if you want to make these changes manually, you can search for the right files using LEX's asset database and this tutorial goes over the dialogue editor.
but honestly, I think using the mod manager would be waaaay easier.

Thanks for fixing this flaw. I will be using it on my next playthrough :)
