I don't know what's the "etiquette" in this situation so I'm posting my comment on the three mods' comment sections.
Among other mods, I use Expanded Galaxy Mod (EGM), Spectre Expansion Mod (SEM) and Unlimited Fuel ME3 (UF). They used to work perfectly well together but since I installed EGM's and SEM's update, UF doesn't work anymore: the game acts as if UF is not installed / is disabled.
So, is there a chance that you guys make a patch or fix the issue, please? Pretty please? Thanks in advance. ^_^
Same issue here. I even tried directly changing the coalesced file and it just seems to be ignoring that. Everything I can find points to EGM and or SEM causing this.
EGM's author replied to me back in June: EGM+SEM in their new versions are no longer compatible with UF and there's not way around it. We'll have to choose: EGM+SEM vs UF. Alas.
That's a very good idea and I was looking forward to use it but it's not compatible with Expanded Galaxy Mod, alas. To be sure, I installed only EGM and Unlimited Fuel ME3. The game acts as if EGM is disabled. If I disable your mod, EGM and all its features are shown in game as intended.
It's really too bad because I'd love to use your mod. I don't know if it's really a bug or something so I thought I'd post a comment about this issue. I'll post in the EGM posts section too. I really hope there will be a patch to make both mods compatible.
Thanks for letting me know. Unless we have the same MOD ID it shouldn't do anything to EGM. But then again I haven't made a mod for ME before so it could and I wouldn't know for sure. I can look to see if I can change the ID or just recreate the mod with a new ID and see if that changes anything for you.
When I made it, it wasnt showing EGM using 5000 as Mod ID so I have now made 1.1 version which is using 8000 which was 100% free and shouldn't cause problems.
The issue with EGM is if you use the galactic war option. If you use default EGM it is ok, but with the war option it breaks any mod that edits the galaxy map in any way (including ship speed, fuel, reapers etc).
jtzako, EGM on OG ME3 didn't play well (at all) with these kinds of mods too, even going as far as forcibly ignoring console-based changes ingame, aka every time you load up the map, you were forced to manually set the stats that gave you the fuel level/efficiency you wanted.

Edit: disable UF + enable EGM doesnt fix it. Enable UF + disable EGM do fix it. Scan works again. So it looks like it is something with EGM itself.

I installed the new version, tested it out: EGM and your mod now work well, together. Thanks and kudos for this very very good idea.
Mod endorsed.
