great changes here. went for the engineer one. working well only the AI hacking isn't unlocking its just grayed out. it doesn't say if i need to upgrade certain powers to level 2 to unlock but i tried some and they didn't work i tried reloading and closing game and reopening but without luck .
In theory, yes, but I have never been able to get it to work with other mods editing the same NPC. There are a few excellent mods that do edit NPC abilities, so you might want to check them out. Sorry, I can't help more, aside from two sides projects I am no longer making mods. Hopefully, some of the other mods will appeal to you.
Sorry I missed this. I am glad you are enjoying the mod. The whole reason I started this was to spice up some of my favorite classes and it went from there.
I have been trying to get it to work in ME3, but currently am having some difficulties as 3 is much more difficult. With that said, consider using DropTheSquid's mod Bonus Power Mod. You can achieve the same thing and way more than I can do. Sorry, I can't get it rolled out sooner, but the other mod is fantastic and allows for unlimited options and the ability to swap out during various missions if you want.
Yeah, I am not keen on Cyro Ammo. Honestly, between Incendiary Ammo and Armor Piercing Ammo, you don't really need anything else. Glad you like the choices I made :)
Hi, is there any chance you could make this compatible with Powers Remastered? I've noticed the two mods don't mix. Great power alter nonetheless, the Vanguard in particular is looking incredible.
In order to make the two compatible, you will need to open the folder for powers remastered and go into the CookedPCConsole and remove the files that deal with Shepard, and then they will work together. Because the other mod has changes to Shepard and you can't have more than one pcc active at a time.
I am just learning to mod and also playing on PC as well. The only reason I knew was from asking almost the same question on Discord a few months ago! We all learn somewhere, and once you get the basics, you will be good to go! Enjoy the mod, and if you need any more help I am happy to do what I can :)
In the description are all the powers now available for the classes, for example, Soldier originally had Cryo Ammo and I took it out and replaced it with Geth Shield instead. Geth shield is a bonus power in the original ME2 game you could pick once unlocked. I removed the unlock requirements so that now you can place points in it instead of waiting for conditions to be met in-game or the pesky have to spend 3 points to unlock a power below one that was in the base game too. Any unlocks for the original powers are still there, but my newly added powers do not have that.
Using some of the game's bonus powers will also allow you to pick a new one at the start like if I played a soldier, now that he has Geth Shields, I could not pick something like Energy Drain. The cool-down mod is absolutely a must-have for my games. In ME1 you could destroy stuff since only the power you used has a cool-down and not all of them are shared. I was highly disappointed by that change in ME2, so needless to say, it is a mod I love. I also highly recommend the powers penetrate shields mod found below. It helps a lot, especially on Insanity.

This mod looks very interesting, but do I need a new game for that?
nvm found a guideI'm taking a break before heading on into ME3 but do you think you'll eventually be doing a version for it?
