I really didn't like Leng's character.. it kinda felt like the director's edgy teenager wanted to put in his own character, and his dad had to or he wouldn't shut up. Thank you sooo much for this! It actually makes his encounters feel tense and mysterious.
lol when anderson talks about shattering leng's legs i was just not amused at all. Shephard was spaced and brought back from the dead and i'm supposed to be impressed he got the implants joker never got around to?
Hi. I was wondering if you would give OrikonTheModder permission to add a patch to his recent mod "Immersive Thessia" to work with this mod? I greatly enjoyed playing through 3 with this mod, but the Immersive Thessia mod is probably going to conflict since that mod makes changes to the Leng encounter. He said that he'd need your permission for a patch, and he can't contact you directly. I'd greatly enjoy being able to use both of the mods together in a playthough. Are you cool with that, or no?
seconded that. I only want this mod to get rid of the email after the fact i've gotten used to kai leng being a nuisance. I've always wanted more asari involvement in me3. I downloaded Orikon's mod and i'm looking forward to it.
I got a CTD on Mars going into the Prothean Archives, then after disabling all mods I was able to get past it and enable them again. Then it happened again on Priority: Citadel II when opening the door to the Salarian Counselor. That's what made me realize it must be this mod causing it as in both situations, the only two crashes in the game, Leng was in cutscenes. Turns out ME3Tweaks didn't detect this mod had an update so it was still the 1.0 version. Adding in the 1.2 version fixed it right up.
So between this and a mod that retextures Shepard's version of the armour Leng wears... it got a bit creepy and weird for me.
So my male Shepard is an infiltrator, stealth and tech and if an enemy can't be handled at range he gets into melee. He wears a retexture of the Cerberus armour you can get with the Citadel DLC. And on the Citadel, an assassin shows up- wearing his exact armour (except with a helmet), with the same skills as him. Doesn't speak a word, just tries to assassinate a counsellor, kills his friend and flees.
Definitely added some actually interesting story implications to Leng's existence, which is something he was sorely lacking. Makes him a creepy and weird adversary instead of an annoyance without any sort of catharsis (a good hateable villain can be done but Leng was not that). So a happy coincidence!
One very minor issue with this mod- Leng's sword is floating in the air during the Mars scene. It would make sense for a Phantom to be there instead, maybe. But it's such a tiny and ignorable issue and only on screen for a couple of seconds anyway.
Not entirely sure which mod it is doing it, but for me it has him wearing an N7 variant of the armor lol, which I suppose does still work for his background but obviously is real odd.
is this compatible with EGM and le3 diversification project and such? and i assume i should also remove phantom introduction mod as this does the same thing
