Hi. I just wanted to say that this is an awesome mod and a cool idea! Would you be willing to share some insight on how exactly you made the mod? I've been trying to create a glowing eyes mod. I think you would need a different eye shader for that. Any ideas?
Sorry for the late reply! I added new vector parameter called Cateract_L_R in (materials/shader/VectorParameters in head mesh properties). And if I define xyz as 010 then right eye is blind, xyz as 100 left eye is blind, xyz as 110 both eyes are blind. Screenshot and FrostyEditor_FBProject in optional files now. I hope this helps :)

I guess so. There is at least one NPC i remember with blind eye in port Kadara. I found name of this parameter (Cateract_L_R) in some file opened with hex-editor.
Love the blind eye so much! Thank you for this mod :) Question if anyone knows: is the blind eye unavoidably incompatible with other eye texture mods? I installed both an eye texture tweak (stormi eyes) and the blind eye, and while they "work" together it makes the blind eye appear super bright white including the sclera which of course doesn't look good. I'm okay forfeiting the eye texture tweaks to have a cool blind eye, but figured I'd ask!

Sadly the Scar 8-Mod doesn't work correctly. In the CC-Menu the scar has the correct position, but Ingame right at the start it is back at the default position. I don't know if it is a load order issue (loaded Scar 8 below Blind Eye for Preset 9 Sara aka Cora) or a real bug.
I'm not the author, but wanted to let you know that happened to me with Captain Dunn, when I was trying to use this mod here for preset 10 Sara. Seems like Captain Dunn was based on that preset. Not sure if this is the reason, but I think it is, because when I disabled the preset 10 blind eye mod, Dunn had her "normal" eyes again. Just thought I let you know because maybe it helps
I did not play with all presets enabled so did not encounter blinded npcs except Ryder's dad. I'll put a warning in mod description because I have no idea how to prevent this. Sorry :(

It's really cool to have the chance to give Ryder a blind eye, because to be honest, lately I got this headcanon where my character got either half-blind during a fight against the Kett or in the Milky Way, or maybe even after birth because she got it from some relative - it's amazing that we can now make this headcanons come true! By the way, your characters look great!
Downloading the files for the presets I use for my girl and boy as well for my minor characters. Will endorse as soon as I can. <3

Done :) Check optional files. Alec Ryder will have your eyes. The only downside male preset 5 will also have left blind eye. If you don't want that for your twin then use this new version of the mod only for prologue.

Also have to deal with depression and BPD getting worse, but it's ok - MEA is a great distraction, and your offer of that amazing file that gives Alec a blind eye; this made me smile Thank you a lot for this! <3

The only little problem I have, is that with the preset for Annie, Suvi also ends up with the same eye as me, did I make a mistake somewhere ?

If you're intrested I can edit this mod so Ryder's father would have the same blind eye(s) as Ryder junior.
