Sorry I took so long to reply - I have been away from home for two months. I was not planning any but maybe I can point you in the right direction to do some yourself as it is very easy. I used Topaz Gigapixel to upscale the textures. Keep in mind that upscaled does not always look better and that it can make textures have more artifacts, but there are some settings you can play with to mitigate it or adjust in photoshop or gimp. However, for skins I really think that it does look much nicer (personal opinion)!
Serious answer...I have never noticed an issue but *shrugs* depends on your PC. I am pretty sure his original texture is 4k for the body so yes this will use slightly more resources.
This is such a gorgeous mod! I want to use it so bad, but I'm so fond of his canon coloration... Would it be too much to hope that you might be willing to do one that matches his in-game colors? Like still doing the galaxy theme like these, but in his colors? I also ask this because there are exactly zero 4K skins for him and that hurts my soul deeply...

Thank you so much for your kind comment! Luckily I managed to keep my files from this project. Unfortunately, I have no memory of most of the edits I did for these lol. But I have uploaded two files for you to try if you want. One is just vanilla Jaal in 4k/8k. The other is a 'galaxy' version with vanilla Jaal colours (slightly more saturated, more definition of spots, etc.). I have not had a chance to test either, so let me know if it is not working or if you wanted something different. <3

One I reach the romance scene I'll be sure to get a couple more so you can see the rest of him in good lighting as the bonding moment with Liam doesn't have the best lighting. Whenever I try and install this, it tells me there's an unhandled exception? Is there a workaround for this? I'm trying to install the Galaxy Texture Vanilla skin but to make sure I tried the pink and orange galaxy texture and it gave me the same error
What a beautiful Retex!!! Most excellent work on my favorite character... I had to repack the mod though.. There's an error in the 7z file It won't add in a compressed state, but I was able to drop in the actual file... Can't wait to see this live.. Blue with purple is on my list..
These are some amazing colours you've done! I love the (what I think is dark purple) first one, but I think if I were to actually pick one...it would be the blue one, I think it really makes him look even better!
I agree with PcktFox. In my case, I think Jall should change, but not too much from the original, so when I saw the Dark blue with the purple accents version I loved it and I'll use it now in my second playthrough. Thank you very much for sharing your work and the hard work, ch3nhnh2.
I am glad you found an option you like! I love his original look too and I really just wanted to make a more colorful version of him. Many of the other Angara actually have these darker colors, so I thought it might work. Thank you for your comment <3
Oh my gosh, these are gorgeous! Thank you so much! As much as I love LadyGoDieVa's recolors, none of them were really "speaking" to me, and this is absolutely the sort of thing I was looking for. I just picked up ME:A again after a couple of years, and I can't wait to meet the new Jaal on this playthrough.
