I finally rebuilt my PC so I now have a ryzen 5800x and windows 10 education 20H2 instead of windows 7 64.
Had to redo my anti virus exceptions to get vanilla game working again. Had to change the game installation path in the FMM .ini to point to my new game installation path. Had to delete the ModData folder in the game folder so FMM could reacquire admin rights. (launching FMM will remake this folder)
This allowed FMM to start the vanilla game. Most mods were not working except for 4 mods to fix this I had to download two AnselSDK64 dll's from link here:
Put AnselSDK64.dll and AnselSDK64_org.dll into your game folder, overwrite if need be.
This allowed my mods all to start working again and fixed the zombie background process the game got stuck in when trying to load up.
I did encounter a save game error saying I was missing content however that was due to me trying to run the game.exe in w7 compatibility mode when it wasn't originally so changing that back fixed my save data error.
Thanks to Denarianos for pointing out those two dll's to get this running again, made my life easier not having to hunt down and figure out what to do myself to get all the mods working again!
I'm stuck with the game not loading when launching from FMM, I've tried all the fixes (literally, all of them) and Andromeda either appears as its own executable or under Origin in task manager and never loads into the game.
I can confirm this Frosty app doesn't work if you bought the game through Steam.
Clicking play just starts a zombie process that never brings the game up. It shows as running in Steam but nothing happens, and I'm not even able to shut it down. I have to restart the PC before I can play the game again.
I am playing the game still as the guide shows, about the only thing I would mention is that for "Replace male dancers on Kadara" I wont be testing the nude version of the dancers as the females clothed version is just fine for me.
I am about half way through the game and haven't encountered any problems really. As for my PC I am still using the same spec so this is pretty much pushing the limits of it, was planning on a new build but my wife needed a new PC as her work one was on it's death bed so I used the money I had saved to build here a new rig:
cpu: 3600x mb: B450 tomahawk max ram: 16gb 3200 psu: SeaSonic G Series SSR-650RM gold
Maybe later at the end of the year I will build myself a new rig.
I will be doing a once and done run of the game so I will update only IF I run into any issues due to the mods currently being used and I don't really plan on adding any new ones etc.
Good game ,sad to see the amount of hate it got though it could have done with some improvements and some dlc :) Thanks for the useful guide ,definitly helps if you haven't played the game in a while. It's like the other Mass Effect games ,it takes a while to get your head around all the mods that can be installed, if you haven't done it for a while.

RIP andromeda mods
I am planning to replay MAE with mods for first time using your list. Any chance you can update it?
Cheers!
