do you happen to know if it is possible to get rid of the obnoxious cinematics to change solar systems? or at least replace them with a generic load screen?
Hi, thanks for making this. If you are still working on this game, would you be able to make a version of this mod that removes the part of the ship/view screen at the top?
And since I am asking, a mod I would love to see would be one that shows a FTL corridor when you look out the windows and not the planet you are at. Any chance that is possible?
Hi, this physical part of the ship doesn't seem to be hidden for me, but the other changes are in (text hidden etc). My fov is increased though, does this only work at default fov? It works great when I change it back to default fov, thanks for that
I just changed the camera position a bit. With a higher FOV, the ship part is in the visible view again. I've added an alternative version that should work for high FOV values. Let me know if it works for you.
Wow thanks for the quick reply, it works perfectly now even when the FOV is maxed out! I'll finally be able to take some nice screenshots without the weird ship parts in the way.
I asked 'soopytwist' a while back if it was possible unfortunately to no avail (see post 14 march 2019)l: https://www.nexusmods.com/masseffectandromeda/mods/746?tab=posts Great that you found a way.
Just a small heads up the file 'Minimal Galaxy Map Interface' only contains the project file Minimal_Galaxy_Map_Interface.fbproject maybe something got mixed up?
Oh dear somehow the mod throws an error with v 1.0.3.1 of the frosty manager: https://github.com/GalaxyEham/FrostyToolSuite/releases/tag/v1.0.3
Tried using 1.0.5.6: https://github.com/GalaxyEham/FrostyToolSuite/releases but it does not create the patch files (.sb) in moddata/patch/win32 plus this mod seems to be compiled with an other version.
I know this is stretching it a bit but could the author possibly compile the 'No Skip Flight Prompt' with 1.0.3.1 frosty editor and share it with us?
I'm using version 1.0.5.6. I'd recommend that you always use the newest version, else newer mods won't work (as you see here). What exactly is the problem when you use 1.0.5.6?
Well 'it does not create the patch files (.sb) in moddata/patch/win32' tried it with 1.0.5.7 still no dice... I have no idea what is causing that maybe it's a windows thing (I.m using windows 7).
Anyway I downloaded the v 1.0.3.1 frosty editor and by a stroke of insane luck I found the location of the 'skip button' altered the 'alpha' to 1 and compiled with v 1.0.3.1.
Thank you for sharing the project files it did help, v1.0.5.6. of the frosty editor gives a bit more information (string names of the nodes) and it did help a bit however there is no diff option in frosty so that one can see exactly what is altered (leaf / node level) so I was still using trial and error.
Well all I can say is my respect for modding with frosty has only increased the tool is really quite cumbersome to use and I understand that no modder would be really tempted to work with older versions of it, nerveless I appreciate your time and effort and in the end I did get it to work with v 1.0.3.1 in no small part thanks to your sharing of the project file.

Thanks for all that you do!
Changing the view out of the window would be a bigger chance, and I'm not really sure how to do it. So probably won't happen.

No sarcasm, no exaggeration. Thank you for making this.
