The *imagery* in the research and other screens is actually the model itself, but the way the game loads the files is a bit different than what is used for the world view. If and when the Frosty tools allow for actual asset creation and bundle editing I'll likely get the R&D and load-out screens to display the correct model.
As for model changes (I assume you mean appearance changes for weapon mods such as extended barrels); I don't know. This not only depends on the tools ability to add new assets; there needs to be a correctly sized model for the attachment (with the right offset from weapon's center, from what i've seen). Currently these are completely missing, and I have no idea whether or not i can correctly adapt other models to fit for the Pilgrim. Furthermore I'm currently clueless as to where and how to link the needed assets together and to the correct weapon mod. I *think* this is done via the meshvariation files, but i have not looked into this as of yet.
