Hello, I just love this mod, especially the jewel tones! One thing that I'm unfortunately less than fond of though is that Gil is suddenly a flaming redhead. If you find the time and are willing, could you possibly release a version of this wonderful mod that only affects the Ryders? Again, I love your work. Thank you!
Hi. I solved by converting archive from 7z to zip (I think even rar should be fine). After that, Frosty Mod Manager imported the file perfectly and everything seems ok. Give it a try
I tried this and no matter how I converted it, what would happen is frosty mod manager would say archive contains no installable mods. Extracting the .rar and trying to import the extracted fbmod (which has worked for everything else) crashes frosty.
All mods that are archived using 7z won't work with Frosty (mod creators take note of this, use Winrar to archive not low quality archivers). The easy way around this problem, this solution has worked 100% of the time, is to extract the contents of the 7z archive, delete the original archive and then use Winrar to rearchive the contents as a rar or a zip ( winrar will do any ) it will then work perfectly. If you are still having problems then you have an issue elsewhere. I had another issue that caused Frosty to crash when loading mods and that was caused by out of date Visual C++ runtimes, download new ones from the net if Windoze Update doesn't offer them.
can't install this mod this is what I am getting from frosty mod manager:
Unable to cast object of type 'System.Boolean' to type 'FrostySdk.DbObject'. at FrostySdk.IO.DbReader.ReadDbObject() at FrostyModManager.MainWindow.VerifyMod(Stream stream) at FrostyModManager.MainWindow.<>c__DisplayClass25_0.<InstallMods>b__0() at System.Threading.Tasks.Task.Execute() --- End of stack trace from previous location where exception was thrown --- at System.Runtime.ExceptionServices.ExceptionDispatchInfo.Throw() at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.HandleNonSuccessAndDebuggerNotification(Task task) at FrostyModManager.MainWindow.<InstallMods>d__25.MoveNext() --- End of stack trace from previous location where exception was thrown --- at System.Runtime.ExceptionServices.ExceptionDispatchInfo.Throw() at System.Windows.Threading.ExceptionWrapper.InternalRealCall(Delegate callback, Object args, Int32 numArgs) at System.Windows.Threading.ExceptionWrapper.TryCatchWhen(Object source, Delegate callback, Object args, Int32 numArgs, Delegate catchHandler)
Ah, I love the hair colours you made here, but I also love a lot of the pastel colours and the natural colours in Femshepping's mod. Is it possible to mix the two? What would I have to do?
Did you ever learn anything more about this? I know it's been over a year since your comment, but on the off chance that you get notifications/see this. :)
